What a lovely place to stay. The owner was really friendly, the room was lovely, the views and location were great, breakfast was delicious as was the food from the pub next door and when we left something in the room the owner left it for us on our car whilst we were out walking for the day after checking out! Would definitely recommend.
Fantastic place to stop. Location is Perfect for the falls and for eating and drinking. Steph is the perfect host, nothing too much trouble. Our room was done to a high standard as are all the other rooms. Breakfasts are spectacular. If you need anything slightly different from the menu not a problem. Overal a top place to stay and we will be coming back again in the summer.
Very friendly host and hostess, lovely accommodation, in a great spot. Would highly recommend
Everything- friendly hosts, luxury room, fantastic breakfast
Friendly owners Steph and Paul made us most welcome right from arrival to departure! Picturesque views from all rooms and beautiful decor throughout. Breakfast delicious especially home made jam.
Our mattress was slightly lumpy but still comfy and slept well!
Rooms were clean, well equipped and comfortable. Great location. Friendly staff and good breakfast. Strongly recommended
Nice hosts, beautiful rooms, great breakfast.
Lovely welcome. Spotlessly clean and the breakfast was great. It is also right beside a hotel if you want to for dinner and within reasonable walking distance of the village for dinner or a drink. Niamh the owners daughter is a joy.
The rooms were very compact and there was limited lounging options so it is a place to rest your head only.As it is referred to as a farmhouse our expectation of location would have been a quiet country road but it is actually on a much busier road than we would have expected and it is not what we would interpret as a farmhouse. We would still recommend as stay though but more as a stopover point.
Really friendly, welcoming, good quality breakfast, rooms well presented and comfortable. Location ideal. We look forward to returning to Yorkshire Dales and staying at Wensleydale Farmhouse again.
warm comfortable room great location excellent breakfasts
Location....great. Hosts.......fantastic Food.......amazing.... Perfect place to stay
Stephen and Paul were very good hosts,in fact could not be better.Very good and filling breakfasts.Enjoyable stay.
Warm welcome, good advice on places to visit and an amazing breakfast
Some walks could be taken from the farmhouse, leave the car behind. Super breakfast, lots of choice, and good food in the pub just up the road. Very friendly and helpful owner.
Very helpful, friendly people. Warm welcome accompanied by tea and cake, even at half nine at night! Well cleaned, spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Highly Recommended.
Welcoming warm atmosphere, great breakfasts, gorgeous surroundings.
We liked everything.
Lovely house. Excellent breakfast Friendly hosts. Dietary requirements catered for. Complementary coffee on arrival with gluten-free biscuits provided. Pretty if small room. Good location.
Having to take our shoes off and not being provided with slippers. We would have felt more relaxed with less rules. Due to unclear details on booking company's website, I thought I had booked a room for two persons and it turned out to be single occupancy, for which I had to pay an additional supplement or forfeit my deposit.
Very friendly, comfortable. Good service and good food, for which many thanks.
White carpet in bedroom. A little cramped.
I felt very welcome, and well looked after at all times. Everything from booking to check out was handled perfectly and I would definitely stay there again.
Being "yorkies" we knew we would be well looked after, but being in steph and pauls company at the farmhouse it certainly out layed our expectations there was nothing to fault it was excellent rooms, food, very friendly location just above the aysgarth falls stunning
There was nothing to dislike
Steph, very friendly and helpful. Compact but v comfortable room. Breakfasts excellent. 20 yards from the Aysgarth Falls Hotel with real ale and wide choice of gastro-pub food.
Excellent breakfast. Friendly hosts. Welcoming afternoon tea appreciated, especially home baking. I liked that there were no dogs!
When we arrived Steph and Paul made us feel so welcome. We had been delayed by traffic and Steph welcomed us with a tray of tea and coffee with some chocolate orange cake and a candle to start my birthday celebrations. She phoned ahead to the pub/restaurant next door to book us in for a meal and asked for us to be seated at a table looking out onto stunning views. Nothing was too much trouble. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and breakfast was delicious and set us up for the day. Thank you Steph and Paul and we will be back again, next time for a longer stay.
We didn't stay long enough.
The Welcome (Coffee's and Tea's with Cakes and some good information about the local area), The Professionalism, The Location, The Bed, The Breakfast
bath was a little small, and the room has white carpets so owner insistent on shoes being removed outside of the room
The hosts were very friendly and helpful. In fact they were probably amongst the most friendly people I have ever met. Lovely breakfast with an assotment of homemade marmalades. Very comfy bed
