Clean and good facilities.
We met Danny on arrival who was really friendly, told us where we could grab a nice bite to eat as we were looking to head straight out into Bath. He was warm & welcoming and made us feel like we could approach him with any issues we might have. That said we had none! The apartment was great, couldn't fault it. Felt like a little home from home and was comfy & clean. We didn't attempt to connect to wi-fi so couldn't comment there, but overall I really can't praise it enough, we enjoyed a lovely stay.
Our stay was only 2 nights, we wished it could have been a week but we couldn't get the time off work!
Wentworth was perfectly adequate for an overnight stay, the room was clean and had all the necessary bits, kettle, hair dryer, TV. We were greeted warmly despite arriving late, being able to park on site was great.
Reading the reviews ahead of my visit had prepared me for the negatives.I was expecting the naff shower but it was bad - unless you enjoy being tickled by scalding hot water. Radiator in the room wasn't working but a portable heater was supplied.
The hotel was in a great location not far from the town centre itself and had suitable parking for the hotel. Manager was very friendly and accommodating also.
Bathroom area was very small and the door of the conservatory attached to the room was broken and very hard to open.
This hotel was near to the City centre and the staff were friendly. The room was clean, there was free wifi and a free car park.
When we came back late at night the heating had been turned off so the room was freezing.
The property is lovely in a good setting but has been furnished like a brothel and therefore gives an air of being poor value for money as looks cheap. Would not cost much to make this place worth £110+ per night and more! Some good touches big towels selection of drinks and a biscuit plus warm.
We both had a cold shower on Sunday morning as it was impossible to control the temperature of the shower. The host was not very warm either and cannot believe the decor would be to his taste either!
Staff so friendly and helpful. Breakfast excellent.
Room too hot but when I turned down the control it fell off in my hand and it was a bit dirty.
TV reception was poor
Good location, easy downhill walk to City Centre. Good freshly cooked breakfast.
Limited Bar closing at 10.30pm Bath room cold no heater/towel rail
Breakfast could have been better. I asked for poached egg on toast and was told to make my own toadt and was bought a piached egg on a plate , the egg was over cooked.
The location was nice.
The manager was extremely rude and very unwelcoming. Room was poor compared to the price.
The location was good and the breakfast was lovely.
The room was too small and the water pressure in the shower was useless. Also we wanted a drink in the bar at 4pm and were told we are not "ready" yet. Are you a hotel or not!!
Very friendly welcome....lovely breakfast....bedding spotless
Could not understand the decor...someone should tell them less is best.... Did not like large fur headboard
The concierge was helpful , courteous and happy to help without being over keen
Ensuite in our room was cramped
Fabulous breakfast, clean, parking available, friendly staff, nice hot water. The manager could not do enough for us. Both bedrooms we stayed in had attached a small lounge room/conservatory, which was a bonus we did not realise.
Very creaky 4-poster in Room 14, and we had a problem with the radiators in that room. The manager tried to fix it, but when he could not, he immediately offered a portable heater, or a change of room. We changed rooms to one next door, and this 4-poster was good (not noisy) and the bathroom was bigger.
Breakfast and dining room were good
The room was so dark and impractical mirror too high to sit and dry hair etc
Close to the center, From my room, fantastic view to Bath
Bed very uncomfortable
Cleaner of room was very lacking in guest comfort, no refresh of coffee and tea facilities and no refresh of toilet paper! Although quality of food was good, Breakfast facilities overall lacking, eg no fresh drinking water and no tongs for the sugar cubes, people using fingers! Quite disgusting.
Shower so small could hardly lift arms up to shower. No hot water in basin and so small couldn't wash for shelf above it. When using toilet up against basin in front. Heating came on in middle of night but not in day. Radiator behind bedhead! No where to put wet towels. Room cramped and tiny wardrobe with one drawer.
Was advertised with swimming pool and hot tub, pool was closed hot tub had hidden extra costs. And had to book in advance. 4 posta beds creaked badly and were not comfortable, bathroom had mould in shower.
Location, reasonable value for money and relaxed feeling. Generally acceptable venue where I would probably stay again and definitely a better option than a generic chain hotel.
Décor might not be to all tastes, finish of bathroom fittings left a little to be desired and breakfast offering was a little outdated.
Parking is it's only plus point
Felt like I was being mugged, literally hadn't put bags down when payment was asked for... Far too much money considering the quality of facilities etc.
Great room, hot tub, lovely breakfast and 5 mins walk from town. Staff are great too
Bit pricey but overall worth it
breakfast was excellent
bar was very poor and not cheap
