Due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to cancel a nights stay out of two. But because I was over their cut off date, I still had to pay the full value of £100.25 so our one night cost us £200.50 in a 3 star hotel. No lea way at all. We arrived at 9.45pm with our cases and was greeted by "And you are" followed by, "Aah yes, you're the last ones". Those were the exact first words we heard after a 3 and half hour drive from Kent. Next I was fleeced for the other £100.25 before we were even shown to our room. Then after paying we were shown to our room and that was it. No mention of what time breakfast was or ask us if we wanted a drink or anything. the bathroom was miniscule, sitting on the toilet, you could bang your head on the sink in front of you. the bathroom was as wide as the shower cubicle and about 3 times as long. When you bent over the sink to ablute, your bum knocked the door into the bedroom open. The bed was hard and old. the head board was not longer properly attached and was jammed up against the radiator . So every time you turned over you got a "clang" . Breakfast. more like break-farse. All the cups and saucers, glasses and plates were already on the tables. so you had to make aleast 5 trips backwards and forwards to get tea coffee, cereal, toast orange juice . One last thing the carpets were filthy throughout, especially the stairs and un vacuumed, probably for quite sometime.
The hotel was easy to find , and sufficient parking. Breakfast was ok.
