Close walk to Bath, very friendly staff, nice breakfast, we would definitely stay there again. Might be difficult for older guests to use the stairs.

Neil, the gentleman who greeted my partner and I was extremely helpful from the offset - nothing was too much trouble, absolutely excellant service. The room was lovely and very comfortable with all amenities in it. The food was also excellant at breakfast and the fact you could help yourself to drinks and toast was a good idea and reduced waiting times. Overall - my partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay - no complaints at all!

My Sister and I stayed at Wentworth house for a weekend break to visit the American Museum and the Jane Austin museum.the Hotel was near bus stops or a shortish walk to town. The Hotel was clean and comfortable, we only saw staff once during our stay( booking in) but towels, milk teabags etc were supplied readily...we were very happy with our stay and would both book the wentworth again.so!! Overall despite some negative feedback from other past guests?? I would happily reccomend it.

A warm welcome upon arrival. Was made to feel 'at home'. The location of our room was very nice, with a conservatory leading out onto the garden. The morning breakfast was of a very good choice with fresh fruit, fruit bars, plenty of choices. Everything was laid out nicely, very clean and always well stocked. Nothing ran 'out'. You could make your own toast by using the toasters if you so wished and help youself to a good choice of beverages. All in all, a very pleasant stay! No complaints what so ever!

Beds ok. Clean. Breakfast ok but nothing wonderful. Noisy ceiling.Swimming-pool and jacuzzi. Jacuzzi is not free. Our room (in the basement) was small/tiny even if it was very expensive especially on week-ends (110 pounds for such a room even on friday is quite a shame) but remind that everything is expensive in Bath. 20 minutes walk from the city (with a steep road !). Wifi not reaching the bedroom. Not a very good deal overall.

The bed was very conformable, room clean and smelt fresh. The bathroom was poor; shower was hard to set to temperature and very poor flow of water. Overall the bathroom look like it was made by a diy person.

It was convenient for the city centre as it was on a bus route and you could walk there in 15 minutes (longer to get back as it's all up hill. Room & on-suite was miniture. Shower was for a 7ft tall person. Breakfast was only till 9am.

The room looked beautiful, was spacious and had several nice facilities, like an ironing-board + iron, lounge area and sliding glassdoors that took you into the patio/garden area in the backyard. The breakfast spread was also nice and was cooked according to your requests. There were a few problems with our room; the shower wasn't cleaned properly and the bed was so old & run-down that we hardly got any sleep at all. As soon as we fell asleep, we rolled into the center of the bed and woke each other up... This hotel could have given us a completely different experience if the mattress in our bed was replaced. So, if you don't have too high of an expectation, this could still be a pleasant stay...

Breakfast was good each morning, good choice of cereal, fruit, yoghurts and a well cooked full English. Good prices in the bar. Room was far too small, en suite also too small. Little space for unpacking at all. Peculiar smell on the corridor outside our room. Bar closed at 10.30. Hot tub and pool out of service in spite of fact waether was very good and it was July! Horrible wooden carvings adorned halls and corridors, very mismatched pictures on the walls.

Poor value for money, the hotel was very tired looking, disapointing given it was £125 per night.

Location as stated is a 15 minute walk into Bath centre, good base for visiting the City. Breakfast was fairly good. Free parking. This is a tired hotel. We paid extra for 4 poster luxury but the room was a complete disappointment. They had managed to get a 4 poster bed in the bedroom leaving hardly any room for us to get around. Only the headboard side of the bed had any hangings, what a swizz. The shower was a joke, no pressure and went from too hot to freezing about every 20 seconds. We went out about 10am each day, getting bak about 11pm - bedroom windows had been left open by whoever claened the room and it was an icebox, the bathroom however had a radiator that did not turn off, that was an oven. I can't be pleased. A measure of their commitment is no black pudding on the first morning, and none on the second, what is wrong with the local supermarket.

When we got to our room the curtain had come off the rail. We told the receptionist and she moved us to another room straight away. The bedding and towels were clean, The decor and furnishings were totally mismatched. The door to the bathroom could not be closed without having to lift a corner of a table that did not fit the position in which it had been placed. The shower head was very precarious. If it was moved it was very difficult to replace without it falling..I Asked for scrambled egg for breakfast without toast , a portion the size of one tablespoon appeared in the centre of the plate. The carpet was not hoovered as a plastice fork which was underneath the televison table when we arrived was still there two days later. There were cobwebs underneath the washbasin pedastal

It was very clean! Booked a double room, it ws very small and compact, as was the ensuite yet cost £75pn There were actually cobwebs and muck high up on the walls inside the ensuite. An oversight but the ~Hotel Inspector would not have been impressed. The pool and hot tub advertised were not available, not even filled, despite the weather being in the twenties for the previous week and expected in the next week too, leading up to Easter.

The convenience of the siting of the hotel suited us as it gave easy access to Bath via local bus routes. The hotel is situated on a noce spacious site. We found the room very small and were disappointed there was no bath. The front of one of the drawers was always coming off and this never seemed to fixed properly. The wardrobe only contained three hangers and was only about a foor deep.

Staff very friendly and helpfull. Good car parking space. It is supposed to be 15minutes walk from the city. It is a steep down hill road and youngsters might do it in this sort of time,we didn't.
