Bath Hotels like Wentworth House with car park, swimming pool & hot tub are hard to find so close to the city centre. The hotel is set in a peaceful location but just 15 minutes walk from the city centre.

Wentworth House Hotel is an imposing Victorian mansion built in 1887 for a wealthy merchant and his family. The house enjoys a peaceful location overlooking the beautiful city of Bath. Although just 15 minutes stroll from the city centre, it is a haven from the hustle and bustle. Set in almost an acre of grounds, guests can relax and take a quiet drink on one of the garden terraces or a refreshing swim in our heated outdoor pool. The latest addition to our facilities is a garden hot tub available to guests (at an extra charge) where guests can relax and enjoy the views across the valley all year round.

Cancellation

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, a fixed amount of GBP 20.00 will be charged.

If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Children and extra beds

Children older than 7 years are welcome.

All children or adults are charged GBP 15.00 per night and person for extra beds.

Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 1.

There is no capacity for cots in the room.

Extra beds and baby cots are upon request and need to be confirmed by the hotel.

Supplements will not be calculated automatically in the total costs and have to be paid separately in the hotel.

Deposit

50 percent of the total amount will be charged on the day of booking and is refundable.

Pets are not allowed.

The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival.

Food & beverage

The hotel restaurant utilizes fresh and local produce and herbs from the hotel gardens. All dishes are homemade and the the food is European in style.

Important information

On arrival, guests will be issued with a room and front door key. Check-in must be before 22:30 as the hotel does not have a night porter and reception closes at 22:30. Guests without keys will not have access to the hotel.

Wentworth House does not accept children under the age of 7.

very disapointed as i booked a four poster bedroom as it was our first anniversary, room was very dated and dirty,decided to leave after 1 night.

room not vacuumed and dusted, carpet was threadbare not what you would expect for £95 a night.

A 'long' walk to town center. WLAN was not working for iPhone. Breakfast buffet was sometimes empty.

The hot tub and swimming pool

Their was no allowance for vegetarians at breakfast. T vegetarian option was the usual breakfast minus the meat. No extra was provided in place of the meat. This meant that the cooked breakfast was very small.

Batroom was dirty on arrival although cleaner the next day. The breakfast was probably the worst we have experienced in any hotel!!! Declined to eat on the second morning.
