The owners were very pleasant. Location good for the seaside. Very small room, even though we paid more for a so called luxury room! The breakfast was only 'fair'. Bathroom ever so tiny and had an aweful 'sewerage' smell. |

We stayed in the deluxe suite and the room and the decor was lovely. Not to sure we would have enojeyed our stay as much if we were in one of the other rooms though. |

The only positive comment I can make was the breakfast was well cooked. We had to ask for extra butter and the owner seemed to be struggling to serve each table on her own.I have never stayed at a hotel where I was made to feel so unwelcome either on arrival or departure and have no intentions of returning On arriving the owner walked around to the rear of the hotel to show us where to park and went back inside (fair enough) however when we made it to the front door we had to wait for a guest to open the front door (middle of owners eating their tea) we then stood waiting in the hall until the owner came out gave us the key and said your rooms on the very top floor I'm afraid and went back to finnish his tea. We struggled up the stairs with our luggage, this set the tone for the rest of our stay. The other point for me which I have never encountered was on the return to our room after going out for the evening it was very obvious that the owner had been in our room. The radiator had been turned back up, cushions replaced on the bed etc. |

The Wescoe is a perfect location for the castle swimming pool and the pleasure beach fun park as they are virtually just around the corner and it is actually a quite street, no rowdy noise of an evening, very pleasant. Can't complain about anything. We where allowed in before check in time and welcomed with a tea and coffee which was very much appreciated after such a long drive. |

Owners were very helpful and welcoming. They accomodated my needs with having a young baby in tow. Rooms felt a little dated but very clean and had everything I needed. Breakfast was first class. Would recommend this hotel to anyone. |

The owners were very nice people,it was close to the pleasure beach & breakfast was very good Only thing i wasnt impressed with was the fact i had paid for a deluxe room & after staying at other Blackpool hotels expected a lot more for the money.Saying that you couldnt meet a nicer couple that ran the Hotel.Although not sure if its a hotel as i would classify it as a B&B. |
