A bit tired and old fashioned,
This is a fantastic place to stay, really good value for money
Didn't stay long enough
This was a good Hotel, situated in good postion for purpose of my stay, the Staff were excellent and couldn't be more obliging, I would stay at this Hotel again.I
If I wanted to be picky, the lighting in bedrooms, could be a bit brighter.
The starf were very helpful and the service was brilliant. Very friendly starf. They made my stay more than comfortable.
Location good for Glastonbury.
Bad TV reception. The room price should include wifi
Location, ideal for both Glastonbury and Street shopping. Large rooms and being able to have an evening meal on site. Plenty of parking.
No vegetarian option at breakfast. Some of the areas are tired looking needs decorating.
Location Parking 3 full size single beds Good breakfast - staff very friendly cleanliness generally very good.
Reception was not very helpful or knowledgable. No cocktails - even though there i s a sign for a cocktail bar. Bar closed early. lumpy pillows.
A bit dated
Room ,bathroom breakfast
Size of room, cleanliness, welcoming staff
Good location, good size room, easy parking and access.Nice bathroom.
Bed was very uncomfortable with a non supporting mattress and breakfast was disappointing.
pleasant helpful staff
dark wallpaper on bedroom
very friendly staff throughout hotel. Restaurant provided lovely, tasty, freshly cooked food. Comfortable lounge with tasty bar meals. Will certainly return!
Decor may be a bit tired, and double glazing could do with reviewing. Nothing to spoil our stay.
Staff were friendly, helpful, courteous and efficient. The hotel was clean and well cared for.
There wer three beds in the room, one was very creaky and neither of us would have been able to sleep on it.
I enjoyed my three days stay at the Wessex. The staff were helpful and friendly, I had a pleasant room and very comfortable bed. I did not eat at the hotel but the food looked very nice and well cooked. Very good value for money. I enjoyed my stay.
No complaints at all.
The hotel needs a lot of work doing to it. Even though the inside was nice for the price I didn't think it was worth what we paid
$poster bedroom - most expensive so thought it would be good - but it wasn't Smelled musty Generally dusty Peeling wallpaper Bed not made properly Just unpleasant to be in Bathroom also needs updating
Staff were excellent particularly the restaraunt team rooms were clean and spacious.
The staff at the reception was very friendly, pleasant and helpful. Good breakfast and we even got packed lunches as we left for Stonehenge on Sunday morning. This hotel was only about 15 miles from Cheddar caves.
My partner and I were so disappointed with the standard of the hotel and the rooms that we left within 15 mins of arrival. The pictures of the hotel make it look much less tired than it actually is. Quite a depressing place, even more so considering we paid for 2 nights and stayed for just 15mins!
Its central and easy to find and has on site parking.
the tv remote did not work . staff informed twice still not working when I left.
Location was great. Breakfast was excellent and staff was great.
The website totally mis-sells the hotel. The wifi was my inky request. However, I was out in the top flow where you cannot get wifi I had no cold water and therefore could not shower. For 3 days I had to run a bath and allow it to cool before it could be used. Surely cold drinking water is a requirement for any room?
