Spacious and quiet, with plenty of on-site parking. Bright, airy and welcoming reception area/bar. Stay coincided with an art exhibition at the Hotel which along with the snooker room provided a pleasing distraction from the rather inclement weather. Tired decor in the corridors, some of which were extremely stuffy. |

We loved the double room (150), it's size, layout wonderfully large windows and high ceilings. The same can be said for the Twin room (151) my son stayed in. The Phillips TV's were great too. Some people may regard some of the decor as faded, or the bathroom tiles as missing some grout. (A few comments noted on Hotel discussion websites, mostly good though.) There were some patches on our ceiling where water ingress had occurred, but these were not issues for us. This is a grand building and you could almost feel its history. We appreciated that maintenance is a massive ongoing expense and, with that in mind, the room pricing is excellent value. The only thing we really didn't like was that we couldn't stay longer. Maybe next time though! |

Due to a mix up with the key to the room we had originally booked, we were upgraded to a Premier room at no extra cost, which was great. Would have liked a later check-out time, maybe 12noon. |

Room was very good with lots of space. Breakfast was excellent. Swimming pools and fitness rooms were very well organised. Creaking floorboards in corridors. Lack of an internet terminal to access email. [however reception girl was very good at advising internet cafe location] |

Staff were helpful. The hotel provided just what I needed, a convenient, reasonably priced hotel near to the conference centre. The breakfast that was included in the price was good although nothing more than should be expected in this standard of hotel. Wifi worked fine. The room was OK & although work had been done to keep it clean & tidy it could have done with an update. |

1.All the staff encountered were really friendly.2. The towels in the bathroom were the 'softest' we had encountered for some time. 3. Onthe whole ( apart from the scrambled egg ) the standard of the food at breakfast was excellent The prices of drinks in the bar were very expensive compared with local pubs |

The room was spotless. The use of the swimming pool / sauna was an advantage. Within easy access to beach, shopping center and many restaurants. Breakfast was plentiful and very good. |

Alot of choice for breakfast. Leisure facilities were very good. Hotel was very close to the beach and shops. Good car parking. Rooms were clean. Bedroom and bathroom was dated. Could do with a bit of a make over. |

The hotel was in a very convenient location for all Bournemouth attractions and that is why we have stayed there before and would stay again. We stayed in a standard room and we felt that there really was no value for money. The room was small, dated and at the back of the hotel which was noisy in the early morning. We stayed in a Premier room on our last visit and had we known the difference in the quality to the price we would have choosen this option again. Paying the £110 for the one night for htis room was very steep and would would not recommend. However saying this the staff were very helpful and friendly and the breakfast excellent. |
