West End Suites  

Beautiful building with lovely spacious modern rooms. Excellent lounge and kitchen facilities.Short walk to city and train station .Wifi worked great.Ed and all the staff there are very helpful and great to deal with. Highly recommend to anyone.

The bath and the size of the room were great. Also our view was amazing.

The fridge was very noisy and after finding out that was the noise, we could turn it off and all was well.

The staff could not do enough. It was our first anniversary, and they arranged flowers and champagne (and didn't charge anything over the cost of the items). The room was spotless and extremely spacious with beautiful views over the west end and the firth. The suites were a quick walk to the princess street and shops/bars/restaurants, and it was a very pleasant walk which enabled you to walk off dinner.

The only constructive criticism was that the tv was mounted on the same wall as the bed headboard - so no watching tv from your bed! A very small thing in an otherwise very enjoyable stay.

Apartments are very confortable and have everything to prepare meals

Location is not as close as I supposed, it is not a 5min walk from Royal Mile, actually it is 15 or 20 min away. Besides, more careful attention could have been given when we arrived, I had the impression that receptionist wanted to leave ASAP.

Great place for families with kids or group of friends who each want their own room. Great to have common areas like the kitchen and clothes washer.

The executive suite was amazing, could not really ask for more! Will definitely stay there again when in Edinburgh

I really enjoyed my recent stay at west end suites. The rooms were cosy & the bathroom was particularly impressive in size & style. Probably about a 10 minute walk from both george & princes street which is close enoough. We found staff to be very helpful & friendly when asking questions or asking to book taxis.

Excellently appointed room in lovely building. Let down slightly with private shower room being accessed through public hallway.

It was a big comfortable Room and a very spacious beautiful, clean house, the service was very friendly and Absolut helpful, I absolut recommend it to everybody

Lovely room, very clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Communal areas quiet so able to use these several times over weekend. Would recommend and would book again.

Great large rooms that came exactly as advertised and wonderful staff who made you feel at home. Little things like having a full kitchen available are great.

The Suites were more like long-term residences than the hotel it was billed as, but the room was clean, large, and even elegant. (It had a fireplace.) The Suites are but a short walk from the castle, yet it was on a quiet residential street.

It was hard to find anybody on staff, and when we checked out, we couldn't locate anybody to provide a final copy of the bill. The cab was waiting, and after ringing the bell for ten minutes we simply left the key on the counter.

The stairs were a little tiring... But the view from the room at the top was more than worth the effort.

Friendly, helpful staff and a lovely suite with large spa bath and shower in a massive bathroom with heated floors. Beautiful views over Edinburgh. Will definitely stay there again!

The place was amazing and very cheap as per facilities provided. Very comfortable stay in overall. Cleanliness was good.

Not that great solution to have bathroom outside the room for that price.... but we knew that.

Great location just a few minutes walk from Haymarket. Large rooms in a quite location. I will stay at the West End Suites if I'm in Edinburgh again

Had to move the dressing table to get access to a socket for the hairdryer

Grote kamer, modern en lekker fris ingericht, met TV, koelkast, servies,bestek en waterkoker. In een gezamenlijke grote keuken mogelijkheid om te koken. Op loopafstand van het centrum.

Het was wel een riante kamer, maar met een smal bed van 140 cm en maar 1 stoel om op te zitten. We wisten van de vele trappen lopen en de badkamer op de gang, maar dit viel toch een beetje tegen. Vandaar een matig comfort.

Die Zimmer sind schick und geräumig, Die Lage ist etwas abseits vom Rummel daher auch ruhig. Die Burschen am Empfang sind hilfsbereit und liebenswürdig.

Hier stimmt der Preis überhaupt nicht. M.M. handelt es sich hier um keine Suiten oder appartments, auch wenn eine Mikrowelle und ein Bügelbrett drinnen stehen, sondern schlicht und ergreifend um große Zimmer. Da es natürlich auch kein Frühstück gibt, es existiert zwar eine Küche, aber in der Zeit in der wir dort waren hat niemand dort gekocht - muss man für das Frühstück auch noch zahlen. Somit ergibt sich ein übernachtungspreis in unserem Fall von über 200€ und dafür ist das ganze zu teuer. Ob man erwarten kann, dass das die Betten jeden Tag gemacht werden und die benutzten Gläser abgeräumt werden ist nicht ganz klar, passiert ist es ohnehin nicht.
