The efficient and friendly staff. We chose the hotel specifically because it was in a nice area and, more importantly, took dogs. When we arrived they stated they no longer took dogs but made an exception as we had travelled some distance. This error occurred because the booking service had not updated the information about the hotel even though the hotel had removed pets from their website. |

Night porter available, and we were allowed to bring our dog. Located in a nice part of the old village. Breakfast finishes a little early. |

Looking at houses to buy and visit friends We didn't enjoy our stay as there was a party on until 12 and the music was very loud. I didn't sleep most of the night because of this. We like a nice quite break which was spoiled and I think we should have been told before we booked that the party was there. |

Location to village The room was very disappointing and in much need of an update. The bathroom in particular was shabby and tired. No proper shower just a hose from the taps with shower curtains! Breakfast was served in the dining area which had been used the night before for a wedding reception and the floor had not been cleaned up properly |

The hotel is in a beautiful area. The staff can't do enough for you. Had the breakfast which had a good variety and the Welsh breakfast was very nice. All in all highly recommend. Especially the staff who were very polite and welcoming. |
