Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast very good.
Shower is a bit weak, but it won't stop me coming back.
Enjoyable and convenient stay
Garden is lovely, breakfast is superb and hosts friendly and helpful.
Received a wonderful warm welcome. Hosts very accommodating. Lovely breakfast with good quality ingredients. Beautifully decorated, very clean room and public areas. Garden immaculate. Priced competitive with chain hotels. Would choose West Lodge every time :)
Very nice couple, very helpful and they serve an excellent breakfast.
So quiet for an enjoyable stay
Good size room. Lovely gardens. Breakfast! Warm welcome
Nothing to say.
The food. Accomodating hosts. Quick service at breakfast. No traffic noise I could hear. Best cooked breakfast I reckon i have ever been given!
Weak shower with poor water output. This is a pretty minor point. The room was spacious and light. It was uncluttered with a big bathroom. Definitely the best B&B I have stayed in in this area.
Breakfast Comfy Bed Friendly staff/managers No fuss
Single room a bit small Some noise from creaky floorboards
Warm welcome and helpful, friendly hosts. Evening meal cooked to order with a good choice of dishes. I had room 1 (classed as single with double bed) it was quiet being at the side of the building and nicely appointed (but see comment on shower). Breakfast was good and Wifi reliable
The shower was very slow - I was warned it would take time to heat up but once hot the water flow was very poor.
Friendly and helpful hosts and team! Lovely local produce sourced breakfast. Car parking. Quiet location but in easy walking distance of good pub and food. Comfortable. Beautiful garden to sit and relax in.
Location. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Nice size room.
Breakfast was splendid!
We are Americans, and the trouser press was not what we needed to iron our clothes!
Staff/owners were really helpful and friendly. Good nights sleep and excellent breakfast. Thanks again, we will be back.
Friendly reception. Homely. Would certainly go again if in area.
Can't think of anything
This is located very close to RAF Halton so was ideal for visiting the graduation day. The staff were friendly and helpful and we felt at home as soon as we entered the door. The breakfast was very good. There are a couple of pubs close by and also nearby cafes.
Friendly staff - comfortable room - excellent breakfast - nice garden - easy to find - pleasant atmosphere.
Nothing really - the room was pretty small but so was the price and a couple of the lights didn't work.
Service. Owners were away and parents did a fabulous job. I felt cared for and looked after accommodations very comfortable would highly recommend it
The room that we had was beautiful. I originally thought I'd booked a double but actually booked a twin! Luckily the owners were fantastic and moved the beds together for us. Breakfast was beautiful!
I believe there were a few couples going to a wedding staying in the same place and the couple in the room next to us came in at 2 in the morning and for around half an hour were talking at the tops of their voices and banging around. We had to be up early so we weren't very impressed :-(
Friendliness of all the staff The welcome we received The very satisfying breakfasts with plenty of choice The fresh local produce The comfortable beds The fact that the extractor fan in the bathroom did not sound for very long The back garden and the arbour The unusual decor about the balloons
The 'battle' for a parking space at the end of the day Parking under trees and car getting covered with birds purple droppings The closeness of the flight path to Luton airport Aylesbury - not the nicest of towns The expensive dining in the local pubs
Cheery informative staff, lovely pillows, comfortable beds. Best poached eggs ever.
liked everything about our stay, great full english breakfast.
nothing to dislike
hospitalitysuperb, very good traditional breakfast, couldn't fault it in any way.
Mattress Curtains not obscurant
Made a change from Premier inn. Very nice people. Room service was nice.
Dinner was very expensive, my expenses allowence wouldnt cover it so had to go to the pub over the road
