The West Port Hotel is a traditional Scottish pub and restaurant in the historic town of Linlithgow, West Lothian. It offers rooms with private bathrooms with satellite TVs and free Wi-Fi. West Port hotel suited our travel plans for an stop-over before moving into Edinburgh. The Hotel was good value for money. The staff were particularly friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent.

visited linlithgow for a charity event. This hotel was the perfect location. Room was comfortable and very warm on a very cold day. The staff were very friendly and the food excellent. We would definately stay here again and also recommend it. The wobbly toilet pan. Not soundproof. But in view of hotel's age this has to be expected and it didn't spoil our visit.

Stayed here Dec 2012 and found a clean and friendly hotel. The staff was very helpfull and the room was spotless clean and very warm. coffee,Tea,Hot chocolate and cookies in the room which was very nice. The breakfast set you up for the day with a very good choice of food.

We had a great stay at West Port Hotel the staff were very pleasant friendly, very helpful. The room was cleaned really well. The breakfast was delicious and the full english was perfectly cooked also you had a great choice of food for people who didn't want bacon and eggs. The evening meals were really good. A great atmosphere. The only downside was the mattreses on the beds which were very uncomfortable with springs sticking in you all night, in fact we slept on top of the duvet and used a blanket to keep warm. I really recommend you get good mattreses as we all need a good nights sleep as the trific noise keeps you awake.

I have stayed here a few times now and on each visit I have been very happy with the accommodation . This visit I had my two young grandchildren with me and they both enjoyed their stay The hotel is child friendly and I would not hesitate to return with them again

The staff were really excellent, mainly very young and good at their job. The food was good too. The hotel is close to Linlithgow Palace and the Union Canal which we walked to the Falkirk Wheel, the reason for our visit. The Falkirk Wheel is a must see.

Camere vivibili, sufficientemente pulite e con quanto serve per un soggiorno confortevole. Staff cordiale e disponibile. Non ultimo, Lilinthgow è un paesino che merita una visita e dista pochi minuti da Edimburgo.

単に泊まるだけの安いホテルを探してここにたどり着きました。 シングルの部屋は日本のビジネスホテル程度、シャワーのみという設備です。スコットランドの星３～４に泊ま- り慣れていたのでぎょっとしましたが、コストパフォーマンスは良いと思います。スタッフもフレンドリー。朝- 食はクックド、３種類から選べます。（スコッティッシュBFの並と大、もしくはベジタブルの３種類ですが。- 。）駐車場も広く、場所も分かりやすいです。 幹線道路際なので、夜も車の往来があり少々うるさかったです。 Wi-Fiは無料ですが、部屋では電波が弱くよく途切れました。 宿泊は2階ですが、エレベーターは無く自分で荷物を担ぎ上げなければなりません。1階はレストラン＆パブで- す。フロントはパブのカウンターなので最初は戸惑いました。

Prima Frühstücksauswahl, von simplem continental bis hin zu Full Scottish, freundliche Bedienung. Zimmer einfach aber dem günstigen Hotelpreis (Wochentags, am WE recht teuer) angemessen und sauber. Recht hellhörig. Gänge zu den Zimmern recht eng. Laute Schwingtüren (Nachts störend wenn das eigene Zimmer nah dran liegt.

Close to Linlithgow town centre Noisey Karaoke on the night we stayed. Apparently this happens every saturday night. People hang around outside after it finishes at midnight.
