Convenient location for buses and taxis to Tintagel and Bodmin Moor. More to see at Bodmin itself than we expected. Good breakfast, good quality television and comfortable bed. Pleasant decor. |

Pleasant decor, excellent food, good staff. No elevator, rooms fairly small. (We had a lot of luggage as we were travelling for 10 days.) |

Everything was very good but I especially enjoyed the food. We had a lovely evening meal. The pate was especially good. Also lovely breakfast - the continental option with lots of fresh fruit was a great start to the day. Definetly return. Close to Lhanhydrock and Bodmin Jail both worth a visit. had a lovely weekend. Thank you. |

The hotel was very clean in its appearance, nice and bright. There was no means of getting the luggage up the stairs, other then carrying it up by hand,so when people are older its harder. |

The Food (evening meal) was excellent in value, quality and scope of choice. I was even more surprised by the breakfast choice which I found to be above expectations and possible was marked to cheaply for the choice. Although I requested WIFI and was advised it was available throughout the hotel, I could not receive it in room 18.and had to sit in the bar area. |

The hotel was great for what my wife and I wanted for a one-night stay. Clean comfortable and I felt welcome.I Will definately return. Perhaps, us, being over sixty made a slight difference, but I recon that the hotel made a great effort to make everone there, whatever their age, welcome. They work hard to make your stay good. Go for the Thai food in the restaurant - and breakfast - Yes! |

The hotel was in a convenient place for visits to The Eden Project and for walking on Bodmin Moor. The food was good and the room was comfortable. It was not easy to find in the dark. The signage at the hotel is not eyecatching enough. The advertisement for the "Steak and Thai" restaurant is much more visible than the actual hotel name. I missed it twice! |

Breakfast was brilliant. The Scottish waitress was very good, even though she forgot my request for brown sauce. The Turkish man who greeted us on our arrival was very good. The all pervading smell in room 22. The decor in the "cottage" annexe was tired. Value for money was not good. Fire/evacuation arrangements in the annexe are suspect. The man at the reception desk on Sunday morning (30.08.09) totally lacked any customer care skills, was miserable, surly and couldn't even bother to ask if we had enjoyed our stay. He really was the most disagreeable individual. Wash basin next to the bed was unusual; does this really constitute "en suite?" |

It was clean and very comfortable - the foods served in the resteraunt were excellent - breakfast was excellent. Being a smoker I accept that no smoking is allowed inside the Hotel - but being in the Liceneced Trade - there had been no effort at all for Smokers outside - and it did rain. The only place to have a cig in the rain was purely because the biulding sort of provided one - no seating. |

I am a bus driver and was on my way to pick up a family in Newquay. My co driver and I decided, Bodmin was the place we would stop over for the night and the Westbury Hotel fitted the bill. We found the staff very helpful and oblidging. |

We liked being central to a lot of interesting places we had on our list to visit, i.e. The Lost Gardens of Heligan. It was a pleasure to be looked after by so many friendly members of staff. |
