Westbourne Hotel is a typical seaside guesthouse, perfectly comfortable and adequate if you don't intend to stay in the hotel room too long, but tired and needs updating - or you could say quaint and nicely old fashioned! We did have a large TV on the wall and beds were clean and comfy, and the full english was fine, so that was all we needed on a one nite stay for a girls nite out ! Location wise it was a 5min walk to the pier and also 5-10min walk to the nightlife so pretty good. We would be very happy to stay again.

Both my husband and I liked the westourne hotel because the staff were very friendly and welcoming, it was idealing situated for our visit to our sons house, the shops and the surrounding area, it was very warm and the food was excellent, we will stay again when we visit our son and will recommend it to friends and family and anyone we know who is visiting brighton. We have no complaints about the westbourne hotel - guest house.

Friendly family run hostel, staff were kind and polite. We arrived late on the friday (10.30pm) and then asked if breakfast at 7am was possible on saturday (we were doing a bike ride with early start). It was beyond the call of duty but the lady kindly agreed and made us breakfast without complaint. Rooms/beds were comfy, big flat screen tv to relax in front of in the evening. Bathroom not great, but perfectly functional

The staff were friendly This hotel was rated at 4 star but should be no more than 1 or 2. The first room we stayed in was extremely noisy and we could hear the T.v and snoring through the wall. The shower presssure was terrible and bed was very hard. We changed rooms only to go from bad to worse. The shower was filthy and held together with duck tape. Another cold shower. Tiles were mouldy and going yellow. Our towels were picked up off the floor and rehung up by the so called cleaning staff.The place was a nightmare and we couldnt wait to leave.

The hotel room was dirty .The shower rail was stuck together with tape,fag burns in the carpet.The hotel manager was not welcoming at all.Breakfast was not good no tea pots make your own tea with a tea bag no bin to put it in. One jug of juice,when it's gone it's gone..Ive never written a review before but after reading others about this hotel I feel it is graded way to high.I Would never stay there again.

warm friendly welcome.lovely hospitality.comfortable clean accomodation.quiet outside noise except for the seagulls.lovely ideal setting for the town,beach and train station.lovely food for breakfast lots of choice. shower in the room.touch of paint needed here and there.

Good location close to city. The room was warm and quiet and staff left us alone but were on hand to help when required. Breakfast was ok and quickly served and staff were friendly There was no lounge or bar despite a clearly advertised alcohol license. There was no hand soap in the bathroom

- chambre de qualité avec une excellente literie et comprenant une place respectable. - bruit infernal car donnant sur la route et il fait jour à 6 heures du matin dans la chambre car les stores n'offre aucune protection contre la lumière du jour.

Ubicacion He estado alojado en 4 hoteles de Brighton y no son demasiado buenos pero este ademas de sucio, las camas no son uniformes y juraría que tienes bichos. Iba com un amigo y por las noches recibió múltiples picaduras que luego le duraron semanas. Falta de higiene en general, malas instalaciones y si algo puede calificar como positivo seria la ubicación y el silencio( difícil de encontrar en hoteles del centro).
