It location close to station and main road. Breakfast was good. We were told on arrival that it was due to be refurbished. If Health & Safety had inspected it sooner it would have been closed down - having torn carpet on each flight of stairs. Once refurbished it would be acceptable. |

The hotel was in a very shabby condition and uncared for. Carpets frayed, walls in room damp, joke of a shower. |

Breakfast Booked double room for single occupancy - non available on checkin - given family room - had no curtains - given twin room with most uncomfortable bed I've ever tried to sleep in & broken tv (fixed it myself) with no operating instuctions |

not a lot ! the hotel had horrible run down atmoshere. badly run. bad quality etc etc The reception staff were very limited in wot they spoke and said. Information about hotel was in correct as Freddies bar was no longer open even though the room information book had all info about it in it ! It was not value for money at all |

The reception staff were friendly and helpful The first room we were given was appalling. The carpet was stained, there was damp on the walls and the single bedspread was wet from damp and marked with blood stains. The second room was better but curtain had to be fixed, plughole filled with hair, extractor fan didn't work. |
