Small hotel with friendly staff The curtains in my room 12 were too narrow for the window opening and shabby. The windows needed cleaning from outside. The breakfast should offer more of a selection. Tv channels were limited.

Staff were helpful and it was well located for my visit. My bathroom was clean which is always a relief! Breakfast staff welcoming and smiley. The single room was a bit tatty, one pillow tiny and very thin and breakfast was very basic; 'plastic' cheese and 'plastic' ham.

I like nothing in this hotel. It was for the first time of my 15-yrs different travellings. My room was 1.7 x 2.0 meters - is it simply normal?? The stuff was unpolite and from my coming they suggested me to pay a bill beforehand (I think they were afraid I would abandon my stay there). They didn't wash the bathroom (I have a reason to say so)and didn't change towels and sheets for even once. First day there was no even soap in a bathroom. There was not a remote control for tv, so you have to change channels by pressing buttons on device itself. I understand that was not expensive hotel, but in the descriptions it is not qualified like a hostel or low-budget one. I think, 65 gbp for a night (for one person) - it is not such a low price for such kind of staying. Besides, the hotel is far from underground - 10 minutes of fast walking, and don't think it is little after whole day of walking about the city. Also I insist Booking.com to fill in as a condition of that hotel that they block a deposit 65 gbp in the moment of on-line booking (because it is written on Booking.com there's not a deposit).

The staff was amazingly helpful, the room was clean and nice, lots of tea provided in the room, which is a benefit for me :) Enjoyed the breakfast and the place where it was served, as well as the large pot of good coffee. My pillow didn't have a pillowcase, but they were buying new bedding and the pillowcase was provided upon request, no problems with that. It was a bit cold from the window and I would suggest some improvements in this area, although overall heating in the room was excellent.

Good location for Earls Court, Olympia, Kensington and West End. Room was comfortable even though small. Good choice of TV channels (better than many much more expensive hotels). Tea/coffee facilities in the room were not replenished each day. Cup was often left unwashed, had to ask for more milk on more than one occasion. Fire alarm went off in the middle of the night as a result of another resident cooking in his room. Knew it was almost certainly a false alarm (the same thing had happened earlier that evening) but felt it necessary to investigate.

The price deal was good, it was close to where I wanted to be and easy to reach from Earls Court underground. The room and facilities suited me fine.

Very convenient location combined with very good price. Improvements are required in the room facilities (I.E. hot water delayed significantly in upper floors and low pressure).

For only £30 the room and bathroom was extremely clean and sufficient, I didn't have any discomfort there, the breakfast room was also nice- excellent place if you just need to sleep over somewhere without expecting any features. Good location and very affordable obviously Breakfast only included toasts and jams, ham, cheese and juices. They could add croissants or sausages perhaps

The staff is very helpful, solved all the problems. Location is nice, not far from the bus stop to the center, underground station, starbucks and tesco. Noisy. and downstairs, 0 floor the rooms are so small. the flush in the bathroom didn't work. freeze money on the card before arriving. shower was hardly pouring water.

Great location and staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was more than ample. Our room was at the front of the hotel so the street noise was really loud.

Does what it says on the tin. No frills. Clean room & clean bathroom. If you want a bed & ensuite in london its the place. If you want a fuss making of you and an expensive bar/restaurant go elsewhere.

Walking distance to Earls Court tube station for easy access to all London attractions. Only met one member of staff, a young man on reception that checked us in, he was very friendly and helpful. The radiator in the room was working and on, always a plus for a January weekend. No problems with the shower, which is where I find most budget hotels fall down! Unfortunatly a late night prevented us from making it to breakfast (even though they didn't stop serving until 10:30am), so cannot comment on that.

Stayed in room g5 at the back of the building, which was good because the main road up front doesn't really quiet down even at night. Bathroom was clean and in good working condition. Nice strong shower and no lack of hot water. Tea and coffee and a water kettle are provided, and re- filled as needed. The hotel staff were really nice and helpful. And the location is great for food, and groceries, if desired. The bed was short. Way too short for a 6'1 guy. And the springs were quite noisy. The room was a bit chilly when I moved in, but turning up the heat worked fine. No 'Do not disturb' sign and no way of locking the door from inside, very easy to break into if someone wanted to. The internet connection costs 5 GBP/day and has to be paid for the full remaining days of the stay, since they don't have a way of controlling access apart from the WiFi password.

The Hotel was clean and the staff polite and friendly. Ideally located for the Olympia Exhibition and public transport. Very good value for money. If you want somewhere cheap and clean to sleep, this is the place. For the cost of the room, there is nothing to complain about.

“The staff at Crestfield were absolutely friendly and helpful. The room was small as are all London hotels that are affordable, but I didn't mind it at all. The best part of staying at the Crestfield Hotel is the location. It is a block away from the King's Cross tube stop, which is in the heart of the city. Also, the Pancras International train station is there as well, making easy to grab a train to France/Belgium and the rest of Europe. Can't beat it!” Tony, Studio City |
