Small hotel with friendly staff The curtains in my room 12 were too narrow for the window opening and shabby. The windows needed cleaning from outside. The breakfast should offer more of a selection. Tv channels were limited.

Reasonably efficient hotel - clean bed, carpet, bathroom attractively tiled. Wall mounted TV with freeview. Room furniture a bit rough at the edges. A cheap hotel in a reasonably central location close to Earls Court tube station. A not bad base but not somewhere you would spend a lot of time in.

Helpful receptionist Probably one of the poorest hotels I have ever stayed at. Dingy room, cracked tiles on bathroom floor, no plug in the bath, broken pull on light over sink, shower didn't fit in the shower holder so had to hand hold, the shower holder front dropped off if you touched it and I had to retune the television which was almost completely detuned and useless when first turned on. If you throw in the relatively high price - really poor. Also room prepaid, but insisted on not only on seeing debit card (which is fine) but taking added id - copy of driving licence - not a normal procedure. I must say though, have used the website many times, this is my first disaster.

1) Tesco located within one-minute's walk. 2) Quiet ambience due to its location in a residential area. 3) Near to the Portobello market (15 minutes's drive by bus). 1) Change the bed sheet every other day or none during the entire stay. (Bed sheet change can be available upon request of the guest;!) 2) Little far from the city center(20 minutes's drive by bus) 3) Less possibility to use transportation(only 3 lines of bus and 1 tube) 4) International card will be charged 3% of additional fee when paying. (Otherwise, one must pay in cash to avoid the additional charge!) 5) Cracking floor seems unstable and brings a sense of unsafety. 6) Not suitable for a family travellers with baby or children

The hotel is very well located in Kensington. Very friendly staff, good breakfast, neat & clean hotel, close to the tube. If you are on a budget this is an excellent value for money, no frills hotel. Highly recommended.

The staff were very helpful and location was good. I found it very claustrophobic and dingy although sheets were clean we thought we booked a double room but it was a single room with a double bed

It's near Earl's Court tube station. My room had a good heat radiator and a nice en-suite bathroom. My room had dirty walls, spiderwebs in the ceiling, a broken window and burnt lightbulbs.

The staff were very friendly and made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. Our room was very clean. We enjoyed the breakfast room in the mornings and breakfast was available at reasonable hours. The Hotel was in a good area for us, with Tesco on the next corner and Earls Court station/road within 5 minutes walk. We would definately stay here again.

Able to book in as soon as we arrived which was 2 hours before official check in,I loved the smell of clean linen that I noticed as soon as we arrived. The staff were polite and courteous but never "in your face". Everywhere was spotlessly clean and there was also plenty to eat for breakfast!

I had a small but adequate single room en-suite. The bathroom was modernised and nice. My only real gripes were the traffic noise, still very noisy , even with the window closed and also the fact that the bedside lamp did not work. I personally, hate a central light in a bedroom, and always use a bedside lamp for reading, so I am always peeved when the lighting is bad. The breakfast room is small, but pleasant and the continental breakfast was more than adequate. Quite adequate for a one night stay, if staying longer, I would request a room not facing the West Cromwell road. The busy road as mentioned above.

Great value and close to Earls court tube station. Close to supermarkets and restaurants and the fact that the room had a fridge was an added bonus as we could buy food to make picnics for the next day.

“Location was good with plenty of restaurants, shops and transport terminals. Also, Hyde Park almost on the doorstep. Very Good! Already earmarked it as first choice for next visit providing the price remains at same level.” John, Hull |
