Location is good, the bathroom was very clean and although very basic, the breakfast was better than expected.
The carpets and furniture need a good cleaning or even better, refurbishment. The windows were very dirty and do not have double glazing so traffic from West Cromwell Road could be heard all day and especially at night. The curtain was a bit short for the window so the room was not dark at night. Walls are crying for a fresh coat of paint.
Staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
First night was given a basement room which was crammed and extremely noisy. It was excruciating to get a good night's rest. Not good value.
Location was a steady walk to Kensington High Street. Hotel was clean, room was compact but facilities were fine, good shower.
Fourth floor stairs were steep and quite narrow. Lift was very small. Bed was uncomfortable with lumpy mattress and creaked when you moved. Busy main road at front so quite noisy and other guests had discarded rubbish out of windows.
The managers of the hotel were very helpful. Especially Gaston, the manager from Argentina. Very kind and problem solving. The room was tidy and had the basics of a hotel.
The breakfast was very basic. Not very good
Didn't rest well because of the loud noise of boiler
Nice Hotel in a beautiful area with services around and not expensive, the staff was also very kind.
The single room wasn't too big but it was clean and comfortable.
Location Breakfast Polite receptionist
Room decoration Hygiene paid Wifi
ex0rbitant rates for tiny rooms
The staff went out of there way to be helpful and friendly, enjoyed our stay. Good breakfasts.
Very busy road, noisy to sleep, no air con so needed the windows open as very warm at night. Would recommend rooms at back of the hotel.
We got what we expected for the price. The room was adequate and the facilities acceptable. The breakfast was good. The location for our break was ideal. The staff were helpful with our queries. We would stay there again if taking a similar short break.
The hotel was obviously well used and was a bit tired.Cleanliness could be somewhat improved in places.
Excellent staff and great location near Earls Court. Don't expect much, yet a good place for the price. Internet costs 5 pounds per day, the internet connection was excellent.
Bed was at an angle, mattress was obviously old. Shower did not drain very well. Hotel is a bit noisey. People do not seem to know how to simply close their door, everyone was slamming their doors.
nothing but the location near to the tube
in need of renovation ! , breakfast is very basic, noisy
Comfortable, bed. Helpful staff.
Uncomfortable and tatty furniture. Lack of thorough cleaning - including greasy headboard on bed, filth around shower screen and grubby carpets. Cable from large fridge went across cupboard. So called 'Continental breakfast' consisting of cheap sliced bread, processed cheese and ham along with two choices of cereal plus yogurt but no fruit! No consideration for coeliacs despite request.
Great value for money. Clean and more than adequate for somewhere to sleep. Welcoming and helpful staff.
Breakfast was limited but for the price I am not complaining.
The location for Earls Court was excellent as that was were we were heading over the weekend. Bus stop outside for other routes into central London. Local Tesco 24hr store nearby. Earls Court Rd for restaurants shops etc. I have to mention although the hotel was small (although the rooms were adequate) It was no trouble to leave our cases both before check in and after. Special mention to Gaston and Adrian for all their help they are definitely excellent members of staff, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was continental but good for what we needed.
Hotel was a little dated and the poor staff did not have too much room. Could do with a lick of paint. But overall was very clean and would definitely book again.
Clean and comfortable with all necessary facilities, in a very good location. Reasonably priced and the breakfast included.
Small rooms, noise outside.
You are used to modern hotels, maybe in the US? This one gives you very little space, neither in the room nor in the bathroom or the stairs or the elevator. It is not overly well kept - but: Try to get a decent hotel close to Olympia with a rather friendly staff at a good rate. In the end, I was working during the day, had good restaurants inwalking distance and I slept well at moderate price.
Location, staff & breakfast
Noise from neighbours, banging doors, very small room, old furniture.
Walking distance to Kensington and earls court
Tiny rooms, not very clean, uncomfortable mattress
The staff were very helpful in organising more nights for me to stay and helping me with my many bags. As a solo woman travelling around Europe I appreciate their support.
Staff did their best to make us comfy, breakfast was ok.
The room was small and located below ground. Only ventilation was from a very small window facing a big road with heavy traffic noise.
The rooms are vary basic but that was all we required as time spent was out so not there much at all breakfast was plentiful, Staff are helpful priced about right.
Had a little trouble getting to sleep some nights noise from room above TV and load foot traffic from a child.
nice staff, clean
it's toooo noisy
Staff was very helpful and kind. Always willing to help. Excellent location, near Earl's Court underground station. Room was ok. And breakfast too.
