We were looking only for a bed for the night to attend a friend's wedding. The Guest house was conveniently situated but we got more than we asked for in a very friendly atmosphere. We noted that it was very easy to find and the breakfast was something else! really set you up for the day. Would highly recommend.

Owner very nice our sister and brother in-law locked there keys in the boot of their car just before we checked out and the owner very kindly allowed them to wait in the guest house until someone came from fraserburgh with spare car key which we felt was above and beyond. We would defininetly stay here again the room was immaculate and the breakfast was excellent.

The breakfast was great and made to feel very welcome. The only negative was the smell of stale smoke in the room, including the towels. Would recommend a tougher non-smoking policy - including for staff as their smoke must have played a part in the clean towels smelling of smoke.

Very central town location. Beautiful old building, but nothing "old" about the interior. The room we had was very tastefully decorated, extremely comfortable beds, and a bathroom that would have put a 4 star hotel to shame. Breakfast menu was excellent - my husband was dying to try the enormous Scottish fry up offered, but felt he couldn't do it justice. The omellette I had was one of the best I've had for ages. If anyone watches the b & b show"4 in a Bed" - I would say that this would be a worthy contender. Excellent value for money all round.

Very friendly staff and 1st class service. Stayed 2 nights and room cleaned and fresh towels each day. The breakfast was superb and nothing was too much trouble. Very comfortable bed with excellent quality bedding and towels. Close to center of town but nice open outlook. 10 out of 10! No downside at all - even the 2 dogs at the lodge were friendly!

As we where visiting our son at near by Lossiemouth the WestEnd Guest House was just 10mins down the road in Elgin close to the centre of the city. We were able to invite our son to join us for Sunday breakfast, which I might add was fabulous with so much choice and it set us up for the day.The staff were so friendly and with off street parking we felt not only welcome but safe in the surounding area. I would definetly recommend this guest house and would love to return. We where in a bedroom at the front of the property which has constent traffic noise but there is rooms at the back of the building that we were told by other guests had no noise.
