Park Lodge Hotel is in the quieter, upper part of Tobermory, Scotland, a short walk from the busy harbor front. The rooms are comfy and modern, and evening meals are available.
Score from 169 reviews Good
Situated on the stunning Isle of Mull, this 3-star accommodation offers self-catering facilities and free Wi-Fi throughout. The family-run Arle Lodge has free private parking on site.

The Isle of Mull’s oldest inn, The Bellachroy Hotel offers en suite rooms and a full restaurant menu showcasing local produce.
Score from 19 reviews Very good
They had an excellent breakfast! Not only was there a nice selection, the quality of the meal was very good and the overall delicious. The hotel has a wonderful vantage point with excellent views of the entire bay and village. Some lovely historic character.
The rooms are clean but a bit tired. Our room did not have a proper shower so we had to sit in the bath and hold a handheld shower head with one hand while washing hair with the other. A mattress pad would do wonders for comfort. They also advertise WiFi but it's literally in one place in the lobby... you have to sit in one particular chair to get a decent connection.
open fires friendly staff fantastic views food was excellent
wifi only downstairs but not their fault and they are on the case
Catering was excellent. Views from bedroom window also excellent!
A team of welcoming and helpful staff keep a rambling hotel warm and comfortable out of season. Our bedroom was spacious and actually had wifi. The quality of the food served was excellent. The views particularly in the breakfast room are spectacular.
Sharper presentation of the food at both dinner and breakfast would prevent elements being merely cool or overcooked.
Great views over Tobermory bay Good quality evening meals Comfortable lounges The hotel was quiet with few guests, so the management kindly upgraded us to the Glenlivet Room.
The cooked breakfast was disappointing
Friendly and helpful staff; upgrade to sea-view room; excellent breakfast; relaxing public rooms with warming fires and interesting books; great views from dining rooms
Pervading smell of cooking fat - could be removed with better ventilation, which would improve an otherwise excellent experience immensely.
Every member of staff was excellent. The food was excellent. The room and bed were excellent.
A very large hotel in Mull in November. Understandably it was a little cold in the dining room.
Stayed in hotel with small wedding party. Staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful - without being over the top. Lovely cosy, relaxed atmosphere, very clean. Very spacious room with amazing view. Food excellent, restaurant and breakfast room views also amazing!
Food excellent but would have liked slightly wider menu choice. I am allergic to seafood and felt there could have been more choice that wasn't fishy. Also more options for 11 and 14 year old boys would have been good.
Location Breakfast Excellent
Bedroom - worn carpets Bathroom - antiquated and worn out Windows - leaking Dinning room - a little run down Food served cold Very poor Value for Money Foreign Staff
Evidence of great effort by the management and staff
every thing about hotel was excellent,we will be back.
No recommendations about restaurants were made. It was Friday so reservation should have been recommended / arranged.
Great location with lots of history. Beautiful view from dining area.
If only someone could spruce it up a little.
The reception staff were good and very helpful and the parking was great
The beds were too "bouncy" unfortunatly, but Id go there again.
Views beautiful Staff helpful
Furnishings and decor very tired Wifi very poor
The staff were excellent on our arrival explaining well places of interest and where best to walk. We even had an upgrade to a sea view suite which was a lovely room.
The bar and restaurant in the conservatory had a vinyl floor which really did not go with the rest of the hotel furnishings.
The view from the room
No lift and no help to drag our suitcases to the second floor. We are a mature couple and it was difficult.
Great location. Did not mind the walk up the hill. Very clean hotel. Service was good and friendly staff. Great breakfast in a lovely room overlooking the bay.
Room got warm with no AC and the windows did not stay open. Dinner seemed expensive so we ate in town.
Pleasant staff. Excellent food. Great views from restaurant and breakfast room.
Bedroom in need of renovation. (But hotel does have on-going program for this. Public areas already renovated are fine.)
The Hotel has kept its character while keeping up with modern times and was clean and tidy. The hotel has the most amazing view point not only from the front but side as well. The staff were all friendly and helpful, from those at reception to laundry service. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone and look forward to a return visit sometime.
Hotel needs investment to realise its potential
The breakfast service & selection was lovely, the views overlooking Tobermory harbour was amazing. We also had a coffee in the green room the previous evening which was relaxing. The staff were very helpful & friendly.
Although, our room was a cheaper rate due to it facing inland, this wasn't a problem. I wasn't happy with the standard of room; paper peeling off the walls, stains on the carpet, could feel the bed springs, black marks above the radiator and the shower looked very shabby & not very inviting. I asked the nice receptionist for a better room, which was available but the manager refused unless we pay £26 upgrade. Considering we already paid £89, I felt that all the rooms be of a certain standard. I was told a lot of the rooms were being refurbished but obviously not ours. It's such a beautiful old building, it's a shame the manager wouldn't let us see the best of it and therefore we can't recommend it.
Glorious setting. Excellent staff. Great breakfasts in a fabulous breakfast room.
My room was rather small on the third floor, with a cramped shower and a broken chair. For premium B&B prices, this needs refreshing.
Stunning view of harbour. Traditional style comfortable room with large bath and shower in ensuite. Good choice at breakfast using local produce. Good service by staff who were attentive and helpful.
Reception staff either on phone or dealing with customer who had a lengthy issue regarding local amenities ignoring the fact that all I wanted was to collect my room key.
location/good breakfast/friendly staff
Room was beside very noisy fire door room 38 Decor could do with freshen up
