Park Lodge Hotel is in the quieter, upper part of Tobermory, Scotland, a short walk from the busy harbor front. The rooms are comfy and modern, and evening meals are available.
Score from 190 reviews Good

The view from the room
No lift and no help to drag our suitcases to the second floor. We are a mature couple and it was difficult.
Pleasant staff. Excellent food. Great views from restaurant and breakfast room.
Bedroom in need of renovation. (But hotel does have on-going program for this. Public areas already renovated are fine.)
The Hotel has kept its character while keeping up with modern times and was clean and tidy. The hotel has the most amazing view point not only from the front but side as well. The staff were all friendly and helpful, from those at reception to laundry service. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone and look forward to a return visit sometime.
Hotel needs investment to realise its potential
Glorious setting. Excellent staff. Great breakfasts in a fabulous breakfast room.
My room was rather small on the third floor, with a cramped shower and a broken chair. For premium B&B prices, this needs refreshing.
Stunning view of harbour. Traditional style comfortable room with large bath and shower in ensuite. Good choice at breakfast using local produce. Good service by staff who were attentive and helpful.
Reception staff either on phone or dealing with customer who had a lengthy issue regarding local amenities ignoring the fact that all I wanted was to collect my room key.
location/good breakfast/friendly staff
Room was beside very noisy fire door room 38 Decor could do with freshen up
Room "Heritage Hotel" Grand staircase Food Staff very friendly
No Elevator Top of steep hill above Tobermory BUT this gives excellent views. Vinyl floor of Restaurant. Just needs a bit of refurbishment of exterior. Gardens a bit jungly
Staff well trained and couldn't be more helpful Views were stunning across the bay and harbour but that meant it was at the top of a hill . OK for us. Room large bathroom clean but could have done with a little upgrading. Food breakfast and evening were excellent. Nice open fire at night in the lounge/
Fantastic view on the sea from the breakfast room
As (too) often, booking a room with booking.com led us to get the worst rooms of the hotel: tiny room directly under the roof, with the smell of grease and frying from the staff's next door rooms.
I loved the location. Beautiful views. The resturant also had the waterfront view with wonderful food. The room was large and comfortable. The staff was very nice.
This was a last minute booking for us and the Hotel suited our overnight stay well. Comfortable rooms and and helpful staff. We liked that we could park our car right by the hotel.
We did ask for a double bed and got two singles.

Steep hill up Wifi wasn't great
The views from the hotel are fantastic with the location overlooking the loch and harbour of Tobermory. The staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. The breakfast was very good: excellent haggis
Views!!! The room was nice enough and clean. The cafe and patio were definitely our highlight!!! We stayed in a much nicer BnB up the hill which became unavailable for our last nice, but I think for hotels, this one is the best!
Decor is old and carpet fading. Small room.
The hotel has a beautiful view from the conservatory and breakfast room. The bedrooms was very cosy and comfortable if small.
lovely hotel & gardens. beautiful view over the bay. good breakfast.
driving up and down a huge hill with a tight turning.
Stunning location on the hill above Main Street Tobermory. The views from the breakfast room are absolutely incredible. The house is old and has so much character, it is such a pleasure to see it flourish in the hands of the current owners.
Steep road up the hill, so be aware if mobility is an issue for you. The younger staff members were impeccably friendly but quite overwhelmed with serving breakfast and setting tables.
Character of hotel, and location. Staff have a very good attitude.
Very poor Wi Fi, and evening food menu somewhat restricted. Parking can be a problem when hotel is busy, I had to park in the high street one night through lack of parking.
Wifi was poor
reception staff, very helpful and friendly the dinner, the meal was great, some of the servers could do with more training the room very spacious, great views from the room, great shower,
breakfast was a tad standard, service at breakfast was average, internet was only readily available in the reception area, ie not available in the room
Nice big bedrooms. Bath as well as shower hose. Wonderful restaurant nearby.
