This former 18th-century farmhouse is set in Constable Burton, at the gateway to the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. It offers 2 pub bars with log fires and a restaurant using local and home-grown produce....

We stayed in room 7 which is the pure definition of walking into the wow factor. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was excellent. The pub is right next to a main road but with the rooms being in a block behind the pub you wouldn't know it.

Location is great! Just a short walk from the main square where the shops, pubs and restaurants are. Loved the log burner just what we needed! Alison the house manager was great too. Kept us up to date on when the internet was down, and suggested a great walk for the next day - The shawl. Fabulous!

Friendly staff and fair price for accommodation, food & drinks.
We spent one morning of our stay in Leyburn. We enjoyed browsing in the diverse collection of local shops. We had a cooked breakfast in the small restaurant overlooking the market place and a drink in The Bolton Arms. Overall a pleasant town that we would retun to.

Staying in the centre of this lovely town (Market Place) is a good idea as several worthwhile things are close by, including the Wensleydale Railway (preserved diesel locomotives), a distillery and the town's attractive shops as well as a couple of restaurants. Walk a few yards away from town in any direction and the views across Wensleydale are superb. A really good place to visit for a night or two. Paradise for serious walkers, but also for those who want shorter strolls in a fabulous landscape.

Leyburn is a nice little town.
Leyburn is a nice little town. The Sandpiper is the jewel in the crown as far as eateries are concerned. There is also a delightful, independent supermarket which appears to be built in a Tardis! Lots of lovely, local produce combined with the usual provisions. A walk along the Leyburn Shawl is recommended for great views of the countryside (weather permitting!).

this is an idyllic setting with access to the Aysgarth falls, The Hardraw Force waterfall, Hawes, the Ribblehead viaduct and the abounding beauty that is the Yorkshire dales. Plenty of walks, Castle Bolton stands testament to the incredible build standards of its construction completing in 1399

Leyburn is a friendly town - places to eat were not brilliant except apparently the Sandpiper. We ate at the Black Swan - waited 3/4 hour for our main course. Fairly expensive. Had coffee on a Friday morning (market day) at the Community Hall. Parking can be difficult in the town.

Typical North Yorkshire market town, with shops and free (but £2 donation requested) parking, centred around a large market square. Nice selection of individual shops, cafes and pubs. Watch out for the splendid real ales from Wensleydale Brewery, and excellent cheeses from the creamery at Hawes. But really, visit more than anything to explore the surrounding countryside.
The property was spotlessly clean, super comfortable and catered for our every need. The location was ideal: on a quiet side road with enough parking space for two vehicles, but within very short walking distance of the centre of Leyburn. Communication with the owner was excellent from the point of booking through to check-out, and the generous welcome pack was greatly appreciated by us all! I would highly recommend Wensleydale Halls for a break in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. Thank you, Lucy.
Had an amazing two night stay at The Grove House. Dustin was very welcoming and polite, he advised us where to eat/taxis/walks etc… the room was decorated beautifully and was very clean.
Breakfast was SO good! The lady who served us breakfast was very lovely.
Very good location and there is many pubs/restaurants within walking distance. We enjoyed eating and drinking at The Bolton Arms, The Swan Hotel & Saffron (Indian restaurant) I would recommend all three.
The location was ideal for us as we wanted to be close to Leyburn. The cottage was well heated and it had a very comfortable and relaxing lounge. The kitchen was very well equipped and had everything we needed for a self catering stay. The cottage was very clean and finished to a high standard with ample room for 2 people.
We would definitely stay here again and would recommend the property to family and friends.
Thanks Linda
Just off the main road in what is a very quiet location with beautiful views over the Dales either from the garden or from the small conservatory that was a part of our room. Engaging and helpful hosts. Leyburn is a lovely place to base yourself, shame the heritage railway was not operating from the nearby station. And the local pubs all featured beers from the excellent local Wensleydale brewery.
The cabin was basic and fine, pretty much what I expected. The layout of the cabin area is convenient with parking and washroom block very close. The picnic tables alongside were handy for diy breakfast.
The site location is good, in quiet farming countryside and a walk across fields to drop down into Leyburn.
I liked that the cabins are named after the owner’s dogs and I met the dogs too!
Wonderful little village, and the hotel was a few minutes walk from town. Beautiful, well maintained and updated house from 1757. The staff were great and took great care of us. When a problem developed with the radiator coming on, we were moved to an even nicer and larger room that was quite spacious and lovely. Easy drive to the Dales.
Another stay at the Wyvill Arms and another lovely time in the nicest hotel/B&B in the area. Beautiful and comfortable room with a magnificent bathroom, delicious breakfast and two very good dinners in the restaurant. Plus the welcoming and friendly owners and staff make sure that you know they appreciate your business.
Everything about this cottage was just tremendous, the best we have stayed in so far in Leyburn (and we've been coming a while). It is close to all the amenities in the village, as well as being extremely well appointed as a cottage. The welcome package was a lovely touch and very much appreciated.
Breakfast was outstanding. Ingredients sourced locally and cooked to perfection.
Location was ideal for exploring all of the Yorkshire dales.
Excellent hosts, they made you feel very welcome and they had excellent knowledge of the local area.
Coddiwomple was a very well-appointed and homely property. It was very clean and had an excellent location a short walk into Leyburn, and the welcome message and hamper was a lovely touch. Would not hesitate to stay here again!
Everything couldnt fault it on anything at all. Shame we couldn't stay longer, clean, comfortable spacious, lovely bathroom, fridge, small personal conservatory off bedroom to open yorkshire dales views .fantastic
The property is located in an exceptionally cute we Yorkshire town, Sean and Heather are wonderful hosts and the village folk welcomed the wandering Canadian with open arms the six nights I stayed
Everything you could want in a self catering property . Lovely living space , comfy bedrooms and quiet location but easy to get to Leyburn. Suzanne was a great host and very quick to respond .
Everything was perfect, great location for Leyburn. Rooms are good , lovely view from bedroom and breakfast room of the dales. Tracie cooks a fantastic breakfast and is a friendly lady.
The Hotel was pure class amazing staff, the food we ate was perfect. really comfortable bed nice room with a great view. Breakfast was of the best quality with locally sourced produce.
