Westhaven Bed and Breakfast  

Great hosts, excellent breakfast and perfect location! Trails behind house are excellent and Garth Hotel for supper was superb!

Very warm and courteous welcome. Always willing to help, even arranging a Health Centre appointment when needed. Good variety of breakfast meals. Excellent clothes washing and drying facilities. Comfortable, spacious room. As birdwatchers ourselves, it was a joy to see the constant birding activity on the bird table easily seen near the window whilst having our meals and the enthusiastic conversations with the owners who also loved birds and animals who shared their recent adventures abroad with us. Made us feel really at home and would have no hesitation to book again.

We had a warm welcome from Sandy, we were offered one of two rooms and we picked the en suite which was very spacious and spotlessly clean. The bed was lovely and comfortable. We had a choice of breakfast and also were told to help ourselves to the choice of cereals nuts, seeds and yogurt. We were also asked if we would like white or wholemeal toast or a mix of both. On the table we had a choice of jam, marmalade, peanut butter and honey. Sandy looked after us very well and couldnt be more helpful, we are only sorry we didnt get to meet Val. (Val was away). While eating our breakfast we watched the birds the red squirrel and the pheasant. We will go back but next time for longer as we only stayed two nights this time.

The owners were exceptionally friendly and helpful , the room was carefully designed to give space,comfort and stunning views of the countryside. Attention to detail eg conditioner, loan of DVDs and a superb breakfast which included fresh fruit and homemade yoghurt. Would definitely recommend as a place to stay

Location was perfect for visiting Granton on Spey. Owner was very helpful. Accomodation was comfortable. Food was great.

B&B owners could learn fom the Westhaven how a B&B should be run. The rooms, bathrooms especially the showers, friendly hosts and full breakfast were all faultless.

Val and Sandy were both very helpful and informative, nothing was too much trouble for them. The room we had was very spacious and clean, with great views into the garden.

Dining area was a little small but adequate.

Absolutely loved my stay here - the owners were amazing - they treated us like family, the food was great - wonderful views of wildlife while eating, the room was comfortable - clean linen, towels, and bathroom, and it was in a wonderful location - not in a large city, but not far from things to do. I would definitely stay here again without question.

A very comfortable, clean and sober room in the upper floor containing all what you need. Very plasant hostfamily, and extremely good breakfast. Nice to see all the birds in the garden feed by the family. Nice located in a small village with some restaurants and shops, and a park with walking trails in the surroundings.

Val and Sandy who are the owners make you feel very welcome. The room was well equipped with everything you need and more. The house and rooms were clean and bright and modern. Val makes a great breakfast. Thought the price was very fair.

Proprieters Val and Sandy are very friendly and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. Breakfasts are excellent with special home- made touches by Val. Location (Grantown on Spey) is a super central location in Speyside for exploring all the nearby attractions. Our room in the downstairs had a separate private bath with a very modern and comfortable hi tech electronic shower system. Val told us about 'early bird' discounts at neaby hotels for dinner.

The downstairs bedroom is tiny - no room for a chair to sit and read - and the living area downstairs is private. The separate bath is private but it's a pain having to put on a robe and walk thru the downstairs hall to the bath when other guests may be in the hall or heading to the dining room for breakfast.

Our family of three were in the UK for three weeks, and the beds at the Westhaven were the most comfortable we slept in the whole trip. Val and Sandy are great hosts; they make you feel at ease immediately. Sandy was a big help with travel logistics. Breakfast was delectable; Val's homemade yogurt is amazing. The location is perfect for exploring the Speyside region and the Moray and east coasts.

The shower in the Revack room is claustrophobic (I'm 6' 3") and the powered nozzle is quite noisy. But this didn't detract significantly from the pleasure of staying there.

Val and Sandy are excellent hosts, they made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was great, there was something for everyone! The rooms are lovely, very clean (as is the entire bed and breakfast!). The location is very good and the owners of Westhaven have great knowledge of the local area and know the local businesses very well.

Sehr nettes Ehepaar, die mit sehr viel Liebe ihr B&B führen. Sehr sauber, schöne Zimmer, ruhige Lage nur ein paar Gehminuten von der Spey entfernt. Top B&B!!!

Sehr freundliche Gastgeber, die uns auch bei Problemen hilfreich zur Seite standen. Es herrscht eine sehr familiäre Atmosphäre. Das Frühstück wird im Esszimmer der Familie eingenommen mit Blick auf den Garten, wo man die Vögel im Futterhaus beobachten kann. Das Frühstück kann ohne Umscheife als sehr gut bezeichnet werden. Die Räume sind stilvoll modern und komfortabel eingerichtet. Zudem ist alles akurat sauber. Auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert !

Nur Barzahlung möglich. Zwar kein Problem, aber ein Potenzial zur Verbesserung.

Nette kamer met een prachtige badkamer met bubbelhoekbad en een 2 persoons massagedouche. Ontbijt prima.

WiFi werkte niet in de kamer.
