A traditional Highland town on the River Spey on the northern edge of the Cairngorms National Park, it is a fine example of a Georgian planned town, one of the 1st to be set out in this fashion in the 1760s.
It has many historic buildings, a tree lined square and striking Georgian and Victorian architecture. You will find Grantown an ideal base for touring the Scottish Highlands.

The owner, Sandy, is a very kind man. He prepared a very good breakfast. His wife was away for the weekend, but he did everything for us. Excellent! The room was very clean, the location is perfect! We had a great time in Grantown, the B&B is on walking distance to the shops and a lot of good restaurants. It's possible to make beautiful walks from the house. We will be back next time when we visit Scotland! |

The b&b was outstanding! Val, the owner, could not have been more welcoming and the quality everywhere was amazing. We had slightly misunderstood the bed/bath arrangements and she immediately offered a total on-suite. A generous and quality breakfast every day. We'd certainly return and tell others. |

Perfect...is the only word that comes to my mind when i remember the stay in this Bed&Breakfast.The room was wonderfull the bathroom was sumptuous, the view was beatifull and the breakfast was gorgeous. The lady was very friendly and thoughtful. Thank you. It was great. |

First impressions always count a lot for us. We were met with a big friendly smile and it only got better. Room was clean and comfy with tea/coffee making facilities. Both Mr and Mrs Ross were very helpful with local knowledge,providing time saving route maps to get to our destinations. We initially visited the Westhaven web pages and seeing the clear and informative nature of these helped us to choose this accommodation We didnt have enough time this time around |

Val is a wonderful helpful host, and a fantastic cook. Breakfast was delicious! We had a hard time figuring out the shower, even with written directions. It was difficult to get a water temperature between cold and scalding. |

Nos ha encantado la cordialidad de los dueños y la sensación de estar en familia, vamos, como en casa; además te dan recomendaciones sobre los sitios a los que ir. Además, aunque el baño es compartido con las otras dos habitaciones, tienes tu llave y ducha de hidromasaje para dos personas y una bañera tipo jacuzzi mejor que en muchos hoteles. También nos facilitaron adaptador para el enchufe que en muchos hoteles ni tinen y el WI-FI funcionaba perfectamente. La situación es perfecta para la zona de las destilerías. Recomendamos la de Glenfidich aunque ya os informarán los dueños. Nos ha gustado todo |
