Westhill Country Hotel  

I thought the attitude and friendliness of all the staff were excellent.

My only issue was that the twin beds were due to be replaced as they were slightly uncomfortable.

Great hotel in easy walking distance to St Helier and very reasonably priced. Breakfast supplied was superb and rooms were clean and tidy.

Beautiful Gardens

The Head Waiter @ Breakfast was very rude. We wanted to have breakfast at a table overlooking the beautiful gardens and there were tables available - the head waiter insisted we sit @ a table in a dark corner / very close to anoth couple - furthest away from the window. When we remonstrated with him he said "Who is the boss?" Which we assumed he meant he was! My 2 colleagues and I felt this was very poor customer care and downright rude.

The Wifi. The A4 leaflet explaining entertainment and how to get around. The shower. The bar service. The entertainment. The TV set. The bus to town. In my case, the view of the garden and pool area.

The mandatory eating in for dinner. The regimented style of the dining room and seeing staff being berated.

Cleanliness.

Room cleaning was too early. Only 2 toilet rolls for a week's stay. Could hear other guests in adjacent rooms too clearly. Unfortunately the hotel did not live up to the way it was portrayed online.

Very friendly and helpful. Family orientated. Definitely stay again with the family. Loved the location and surroundings which give a feeling of being in the country, although you are so close to St.Helier.

so friendly, staff couldn't do enough for you very clean tidy, food nice, gardens nice, pool nice would recomend to singles, family, busines and sport brakes

The Staff were amazing nothing was too much trouble and they always offered ,you didn't have to ask for assistance. The hotel is spotless the rooms were the cleanest I've ever seen. The grounds were lovely, very relaxing.

Dinner menu was not great, but I would only add a couple of choices to each course.

The grounds were excellent, staff very helpful, rooms very clean and good food.

The kids loved the pool and children's play area. Staff were very friendly.

Meal times were a little restricted - last orders for dinner at 8pm can be a problem if your ferry arrives late.

Staff friendly, clean, nice size double room, spacious. We enjoyed our stay overall a lovely hotel

Difficult for older people as no lifts. Free bus is good but should run hourly. The bus service is o k but times aren't frequent enough, we had to take a taxi from town but was expensive at £7 for a about a 5 minute journey. We decided to hire a car for a couple of days as this worked out cheaper. We thought the breakfast was nice but would of prefered self service.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The gardens are decidedly well looked after and an asset to the location. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff attitude was to be commended.

Complete lack of disability aids, ie in the bathroom no grab rails at all. Restaurant overcrowded.

Nice hotel, mainly older people staying there but we still enjoyed it and we ranged from 17 years old to 62 years old. It was my hen do, so a funny hotel to stay at really but we enjoyed it!!!

The central location of the hotel clean and comfortouble reception staff helpfull Overall a pleasent experiance with some reservations as below

No heating in the rooms very limited menu breakfast not to hotel standards, ie cheap sausages and other basic ingrediants , breakfasts is a meal that should set standards for the rest of the menu's Some areas need modernising other areas are up to date and pleasent to use obviousley catering for the older clients

I particularly liked the flexibility re breakfast so on time for our convention and the courtesy bus into town which offset being on the edge of St Helier. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and the quality of the food was excellent.

The hotel was quiet and friendly with ample space to have a moment or two on your own or join guests in the various bar facilities. Ideally located to go into St helier either by the courier bus or own car and also access the island. Room was very confortable and spacious.

We were troubled by cleaning staff who knocked on our door at 9:00am every day. Whilst I appreciate a big hotel has a lot of rooms, I would have expected the cleaning of rooms to commence after 10:am when most guests would beb up or out of the hotel.

A very pleasant location and excellent happy staff.

Staff were not fully informative about the location of the rooms.The grounds are very pleasant and relaxing. However, this is not a good hotel for the disabled, particularly if using a wheelchair. The grounds are inaccessible due to steep slopes and gravel footpaths.

Well run hotel, excellent staff, grounds and communal areas all excellent. 10 minute drive to St Helier.

Rooms & hallways very dated, in need of refurbishment. Evening meals awful don't waste your money even trying them.

The location was perfect for us , the gardens where lovely and relaxing , Extremely helpful with any problems ie: my husbands broken ankle , the fact they run a minibus down to st.helier was a bonus too . An extremely pleasant place to stay for exploring the island .

A really wonderful hotel. Only stayed two nights and felt like part of the family. All the staff were so friendly the food was good. Location and room was good, the grounds are absolutely stunning and well kept. Nothing negative to say about this hotel, everything and everybody was perfect. Looking forward to going back asap. Thank you all.

Kein WLAN auf dem Zimmer. Die Badezimmer im 2. OG sind sehr klein und nicht gerade modern. Das Haus ist recht hellhörig.
