Friendly and helpful team. Good shuttle service down into St Helier. Great pool and surrounding garden/leisure amenities maintained to a very high standard Presentation of the room which would benefit from updating

The grounds of the hotel were well looked after and provided a very pleasant area for sitting and enjoying the open air. Soitable for children to swim and play. The shower in the bathroom on the top floor was poor.

This hotel is well situated in an attractive, quiet location, in easy reach of St. Helier. The gardens and outdoor facilities are excellent for both families and couples. The swimming pool area is set in beautiful lawns and gardens. There is adaquate space and equipment for childrens play whilst also well seperated from guests who want peace and quiet to relax on loungers. We stayed on bed and breakfast basis, but guests described the evening dinner menu as excellent. (Full four course at £18.50, or choice of mains at £10.00). our breakfasts were super. The service at this hotel is splendid.

We really enjoyed staying at the hotel. The location was within walking distance of St Helier, but the hotel also provided courtesy transport. The food was excellent and the service in the dining room was top class. The Diningroom manager Nello was very attentive as was his staff. I would strongly recommend the food. The whole ambience of the hotel was very good and the spacious garden with swimmng pool and hottub was a real bonus. Myself and my husband who had been in Jersey 22 years earlier really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to either couples or families or indeed anyone who would like a relaxing break. This is a positive comment that would enhance the hotel - perhaps a facelift of the function room/lounge. The rooms were spotless but the beds were very hard. Otherwise excellent.

Friendly staff, beautiful grounds, excellent outdoor pool, convenient (by car) for the whole island. Interior decor is dated, bathrooms are small, pillows are hard. Wi-fi only in public areas, with very slow connection.

Staff always helpful, food very good, service excellent. The free bus was good as the hotel was was situated on the outskirts of St Helier. The facilities in the gardens were great and could not be duplicated in the town centre hotels. Due to the layout of the building the hotel was not 'disabled friendly' otherwise this hotel would be 3 or 4 stars.

We liked the location, in relation to St.Helier, The location was quite and relaxing, the gardens and grounds very well maintained. Parking for our car and access to the a9 was very good. The menu was varied and the food very good value. From the moment we arrived all the staff we came into contact with were friendly, the service was efficient. We will have this hotel at the top of our list when we return, it is a good base to return to after a busy day around the island. There was plenty of coffee, and tea in the rooms.

The staff were very helpful but not intrusive. Gardens were beautiful with flowers round the swimming pool area too. The ambience of the hotel and grounds was just what we needed for a relaxing time, jacuzzi and table tennis were fun too.

Excellent hosts, lovely staff, and in a lovely location. They seam to attract regular guests, who return every year , so they must be going things right. No complaints but the only thing I would mention is that they should have entertainment every night, with being out in the countryside.

Basically we only used the hotel as B&B and only stayed for 2 nights. We used to live on the island so it's hard for us to judge all aspects as we were catching up on friends & family mostly but having our own space at the same time. However, we had been before for an engagement party (BBQ in the garden) & when friends visited. The staff were all very pleasant & friendly, rooms very clean & comfortable. The distance from St Helier is close enough for easy access with the knowledge that the car could be safely left at the hotel if necessary, rather than in town parking - which is a nightmare. The use of the hotel minibus I'm sure is an assett for anyone wanting to visit the town without worrying about parking or one-way systems!.The gardens are beautiful for relaxing & the pool & spa great for families to relax & enjoy on sunny days. The price was also reasonable & a factor in our choice.

The Hotel had extensive gardens and a good size outdoor swimming pool including a separate smaller pool for children. The choice of food on the dinner-menu was excellent and the Staff were particularly helpful on the odd occasion that we required their service.

Location, ample car parking, rooms very adequate, garden, staff Food including dinner all pre-cooked, not cooked to order. Eggs at breakfast looked as if they had been cooked the night before and re- heated. Waiter just shrugged. Shame. Wi-Fi only in public areas. But then its not a hotel for business people.

We all loved the pool and spa including my young daughter and all the staff were very friendly and would try and meet your needs as much as possible. Nice rooms very comfortable has everything you need in them. Overall we loved staying there and would stay again. The only thing we didint like was by the playarea outside there was a big hole by the fence which led to a steep drop down to a pond but then children should be supervised but its still dangerous

The Westhill Country Hotel is very well situated (about 10 mins from St Helier) - the gardens/outdoor pool, etc are absolutely stunning and immaculate. The staff were very accommodating and friendly and couldn't do enough for us. We stayed on a half board basis and was pleasantly surprised and the quality and value of the food. The only downside was that the beds weren't that comfortable, but unless you stay at a 5 star establishment, this tends to be the case. We would highly recommend the hotel and are planning to go back again next year.

As a solo traveller I had yet to find a place in Jersey that suited me in every way I wanted. I have now found the Westhill! The owner, management and staff are all friendly, helpful, and it is obvious that all enjoy working there. The grounds are magnificent, the pool & jacuzzi gorgeous, my room (newly refurbished) overlooked the gardens and with a flatscreen was perfect. If you are going there then take the option of upgrading to the dinner option it is well worth the £9 with 3 courses & coffee! The courtesy bus runs several times a day into town which was a huge bonus! There are several tables dotted around the hotel filled with Thank You cards from guests.... and to be honest I am not surprised! I had to come home.
