One of the most well-equipped hotels on Jersey, with 2 pools, 2 bars, 2 restaurants and free parking, Apollo Hotel is located at the heart of St. Helier.
Score from 515 reviews Good
With a heated outdoor swimming pool and its own coffee shop, Norfolk Hotel is just a 5-minute walk from the center of St Helier. The sandy beach of Havre de Pas is less than a 10-minute walk away.
Score from 168 reviews Very good
In the center of St Helier, this independent colonial-style hotel has a seasonal outdoor heated pool and free Wi-Fi. With a bar, restaurant and bright, modern rooms, the harbor is just 1 mile away.
Score from 203 reviews Very good
Between St Helier and Gorey on Jersey’s south coast, Shakespeare Hotel is the most southerly in the British Isles. It has its own private access onto the nearby beach.
Score from 103 reviews Good
friendliness of staff and other guests gardens and surroundings make your stay.
pillows on the bed. far too soft
the whole experience
Lovely atmosphere Very clean Beautiful grounds and swimming pool Shuttle bus Helpful staff
Poor quality mattress and pillows. Restaurant was pricey for the quality of food Too far to walk back from town
Staff extremely helpful and knowledgable. Good location. Clean comfortable bedroom. Free courtesy bus into the town centre.
Willingness of Staff to help. Perfect for an overnight business stop (not sure about leisure facilities)
Evening Meals finished at 8pm and nothing hot available after that time, no warning advice given. Breakfast was ok - poached eggs were bullet and toast was just a circle of toast cut from a slice of cheap bread. Fruit salad was a mixture of fresh and tinned in the same bowl. I cannot comment on anything else as I was only there for 12 hours but for a weeks stay I would prefer to eat out. Sign to the hotel was fine in one direction which happened to be a different direction to my arrival to the hotel.
The friendlyness and ease of all the staff. The professional manners of the owners, warmth from arriving, nothing a bother to anyone member of staff. The property is lovely, the gardens, the rooms very clean and spacious. Very satisfied well worth the price. Will gladly recommend this hotel to others.
Lovely grounds, beautiful gardens. Lovely dining room overlooking pool and garden.
We requested a double and got 2 separately made up single beds pushed together. Due to flight delay and missing connecting flight to island arrived 2 days late, asked if we could negotiate the 2 nights we weren't there and and we're refused flat no! We understand you don't know unless you ask, however even offering us something as simple as a free beverage would have been better pr than no.
Lovely gardens and swimming pool. Very friendly staff
Bed too small. Distance from town and courtesy bus not regular enough.
Rooms very clean and comfortable Staff very friendly and helpful Quiet location with beautiful gardens and pool Great choice and quality for breakfast Good variety of entertainment Shuttle bus into town
Out of the way. very large swimming pool quiet
Recommend a car up a steep hill ok going into town but hard hill to climb on way back up. 10 pound in taxi
All staff were very accommodating, friendly, eager to assist and always provided a top class service. Room was fine in all respects. I thought the lawn and pool area were exceptional and really made my holiday. Pool towels are provided which I thought was an exllent touch. This hotel is suitable for all people as during my stay ages ranged from babies to centurians who could all swim a lot better than I. Entertainment provided in the evening was fun. wi-fi was utilised massively by my children. We had breakfast (ate out in the evening) which was delicious accompanied by very attentive staff who made a point of delivering exellent service. I was sad to depart !!
nothing - all was top class.
everything about the stay was excellent. I took my daughter away for a week, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. It was our first time in Jersey and when we return we will go back to the westhill.
Only one complaint more of an inconvenience free wifi was stipulated and with a teenage daughter she likes to keep in touch with family and friends and wasn't able to in the comfort of the room because of the weak wifi facility but it wasn't the end of the world.
Had everything I needed. Stayed 2 nights for a friend's wedding. Bed was comfy and my single room was spacious for a single room. The pool was lovely as was the food.
Had a great time, staff very helpful and friendly would stay their again and recommend to friends
Shower too hot
Friendly happy environment loved everything about it
Good location close to St Helier and with easy access to main routes across the Island BUT I would highly recommend hiring a car. We hired through Avis as they were the cheapest. Lovely gardens, nice pools (the one for the children is a perfect depth) and good facilities for the kids such as play area, sandpit etc. They also have a pool bar and give residents towels for swimming which is good. Very tasty breakfast and we ate at the restaurant one night which was also excellent. We had a friendly waiter called Julio who served us the entire stay.
The decor is very dated in the bedrooms and the walls are paper thin plus the floors are very creaky! If like us, you have a noisy family next door and above you, it can be difficult to sleep! There is also no air conditioning. The TV in the bedroom is probably the smallest I've ever seen and there's no WiFi in the rooms which is a pain as you have to go out into the bar to get the internet. I didn't find the reception staff particularly friendly and when I went to check out of the hotel the lady thought I was checking in which shows how much attention they pay to their customers!
rooms, breakfast, grounds, swimming pool, staff.
Old hotel Value for money to expensive Breakfast was sparce No fresh fruit only canned fruit no fresh rolls no variety
The grounds were beautiful, the staff very helpful & courteous, the meals were exellent & reasonably priced, it had a swimming pool & hot tub, loved seeing the squirrels playing in the tree's, chickens roaming free. had a very lovely break & will be coming back again
Shower very small
John who transferred us to the old court house hotel
Very good service and attention from the staff. Good location to explore the island and for local work out like running. Free parking. Good breakfast.
Dinner could be better.
Smiles from all round . Very helpful
There was nothing I did not like
The rooms were of generous size with good en suites. Beds were very comfortable. Restaurant staff were a happy & friendly group who really made our 4 night break. The food was very good so we didn't bother to eat out at all.
The hotel was hard to find & direction off the A9 either invisible or non-existent. Even with clear directions from the local garage it was mostly guesswork which of your "green lanes" to take. We eventually found the B60 to be the easiest route.
Wonderful staff friendly and helpful . Everything was spotlessly clean and the food was lovely.
