Location. This is not the first time I stay at this hotel. This hotel relies mainly on its location. Apart from that, it has really little to offer. The rooms haven't been updated for many years it seems. The carpet in my room was heavily stained. There is an iron board provided but no ironer. There is a cattle but the yellowish turned colour of a tired former white appliance is scary. The bathroom is often poorly maintained in this hotel. I couldn't have really hot water in the shower. The bottom of the shower curtain had green-orange moisture. There are liquid soap dispensers in the bathroom. It is not the first time I visit this hotel and that I find the dispensers empty or simply broken. All we are provided with are two small pieces of cheap hard soap. This is not really comfortable to use. This hotel needs to upgrade its rooms and its standards. So far the prices don't match the low standards of this hotel. All this hotel has to offer is its location.

Location only. Hotel was dated. It had no bar, I also had to leave by 7.30am and breakfast wasn't served until 8am. This is the first time I have ever experienced not being able to get a full breakfast at 7am in a hotel in over 25 year of business travel. Shower water was cold in the evening, although warm the next morning. The soap dispenser was empty, there was hair in the bathroom which means the room hadn't been cleaned very well. The furnishings were poor and the decor looked like the 1970'S. Generally, this is a very poor quality hotel and it needs to have substantial investment to update the decor and also it needs to ensure that customers requirements are catered for in terms of a bar and suitable restaurant facilities.

Its location to Kensington Park It ismvery old, the rooms are in need of a major renovation, our room overlooked the main road so very noisy, the beds are not bad but quite small single beds Overall, very poor, we paid $155 for the night, even booking through this site we had no discount at all, very very disappointed with the hotel and the lack of discount usually obtained via this site We booked for 2 nights but only stayed 1

The staff were both friendly and very helpful. I was very disappointed about the hotel for the price it was very basic, no complimentry toilitries we had to go out straight away and buy them(because of luggage restrictions we did not bring them with us). The beds were the most uncomfortable we have ever slept in our holiday was partially ruined because we could not get a good nights sleep. The shower was antiquated and the hand rail for assisting in getting into the bath had been broken a long time this was upsetting as I had my daughter who has a disability with us and it was very hard for her to get in and out of the bath for a shower.

Pet friendly. I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at westland. The location is just perfect. What else could one want but stay in notting hill. The neighborhood is great....lots of trendy restaurants, bars, coffee shops, convenience stores, etc....the tube station is a five- minute walk from the hotel. My room was huge and best of all, this hotel is pet friendly. The staff was excellent and my two small cats were very welcome there. My husband and I will definitely stay there again!!!!!

That's very very very old hotel, still in wood, badly conserved. You can hear peolple walking in the floor above (as it is wood). Poor breakfast - no buffet available. Poor cleanliness, I had to ask the staff that seems not liked I was telling them, to check it.

Location of the Hotel for our requirements was very good Lack of supplies for people with specific needs/;reqjuirements eg. Requested decafinated coffee in rooms which there was not, and staff would endavour to have some ready for the breakfast in the morning but was not available in the rooms to have before breakfast etc., requested this early evening, so would have to have waited until the following day.Inefficiency. Lack of certain facilities could do a lot better.

There was a nice lady serving breakfast. Location reasonable, everything else (apart from breakfast) was a disaster. When we arrived we were given a double room. Bed was a foot from the wall on one side, but as there was a radiator; my wife had to climb over me to go to bathroom during the night. The bedspread was filthy, so we decided not to use it. The bathroom room door was damaged and wouldn't close. The shower did not work properly, as it would not dispense hot water. We were given a double room for the second night. The room was tiny. The toilet would not flush. We had to fill waste paper from bath to flush toilet. When I complained to reception, the reaction was “Really, you’ve been unlucky but sorry there is nothing else available”. On checkout, I asked if I could leave my bags for a later collection. “Yes Sir, but please remove any valuables and leave you bags through that door” Location? At the bottom of the public stairs off reception area. Generally rooms are outdated and in need of a major revamp. Would I stay there again or recommend it? No, defiantly not.

Good location, pleasant staff More care needs to be taken as far as the rooms - lights didn't work, no bulb in lamp over one bed or over dresser, curtain off rod and not clean. For the price, these things make a difference.

The breakfast was tasty and the waiting staff very efficient. The hotel is well situated for tube trains. The coffee /tea supplied in the room was meagre and not very pleasant. I thought the hotel was overpriced for the facilities provided.
