I am only days away from my visit to West Lodge Park(WLP) and I am already yearning for a prompt return. I scoured the Internet trying to find a perfect venue to treat (and propose to) my partner as a Graduation treat and only bumped into wlp by chance. It was perfectly located not far from our London base and ended up being the perfect chance meeting. The very kind staff (especially Charlotte + Nicola) were extremely kind and very pleasant. Our room was blissfully located behind a fountain and amazing picturesque views that kept us indoors longer than planned. The grounds were breathtakingly picturesque with greenery as far as the horizon. The hotel has a unique and very natural identity uncommon in popular plastic-clad hotel chains. I can wax lyrical about this oasis of tranquillity forever but it will not reflect how wicked my time there was. I am counting down to my return. A must visit!!

We have stayed at West Park Lodge on several occasions and always found the hotel clean and comfortable. The staff are always pleasant but efficient. We would have no hesitation in recomending West Park Lodge to anybody.

Staying at this hotel is comparable to staying in a stately home, beautiful rooms, friendly staff and a haven of piece and tranquility after a hectic day in London.Even though, on this occasion, I did not have a car it took just 40 mins by train and a short bus ride to this idyllic rural retreat. I have recommended this hotel to friends and I will be staying again.

We needed a bed for two nights near north London. We looked first at Travel Lodges/Premier Inns etc. These were very expensive with parking charges as well. This hotel was really reasonable and it was a luxurious experience. Lovely to stay in the country, with all the facilities of the hotel and its beautiful arboritum and yet be just out of Edmonton. Can'#t rate it highly enough!

Value for money ... perfect hotel ... clean, warm, welcoming, excellent service. We didn't eat at the hotel but had the most amazing meal at the Blue Orchid (I think), a Greek restaurant a mile away. I would love to have an excuse to go back to West Lodge.

Ease of connection to the centre of London. Nice bar and terrace area. Excellent Cider. Really good single room with 3/4 size bed. The room was just too hot - I hardly slept for five nights despite using the elctric fan.

The single room far exceeded my expectations. The staff were warm and friendly. I enjoyed very much the setting of the Hotel and felt relaxed as I wandered around the grounds and enjoyed the arboretum. I would have preferred a selection of real ales at the bar and real Guinness on draft. The events planned for the coming year are a real attraction for me to return and I would like to thank the staff for proving that nice service is still available in Britain. . The breakfast although nice was below my expectations and I didn't thionk represented value for money. The mushrooms were lacking flavour and could have done with more seasoning. No real Ale at the Bar.
