I just stayed at the hotel for overnight and meets my expectations such as clean room, open buffet breakfast, hotel location is close to downtown, very convenient for both location and pricewise. Curtains at the shower

Very close to Piccadilly. Excellent price for a basic room. I was pleasantly surprised to have a kettle and tea etc. Nice hot shower and plenty of towels. It took me ages to work out how to flush the loo, it had an odd upward flush thing going on.

An attractive environment with good facilities The duvets were rather small and my window would not close. This meant I was rather cold

It'd be nice to have wifi, or to have information in advance as to whether it is possible to access the internet through the ethernet ports which I noticed in the room.

The hotel was good and the staff were okey the only thing I disliked is that my room was facing car parking and a bar sometimes there was noise. Other then that it was okey. If you are looking for something cheap and in the centre this will suit you.

Value for money. It's basic but reasonable A slightly bigger bed, a tv or radio and a proper mug in the room would make it even more comfortable

I stayed there during Manchester Pride weekend as the halls was very handy for the gay village and cheaper than other city centre options. A lot of noise outside so I had to close the window, which made the room a bit hot.

I booked into the Halls of Residence; a basic yet neatly presented room. On close inspection I found a specific hygiene concern which I reported to Reception. The friendly, professional staff immediately provided me with a different room - which happened to be in the hotel side of the operation (very smartly appointed with a recently refurbished bathroom).
