Westpoint Hotel    

Despite size, my rooms' ingeneous design contained everything I needed for a short stay .. Excellent location for someone on a short visit to the city form the West Country.

Room was very cramped for space ...Felt like student hostel accommodation of the fifties!! Mattress could have been softer.

Very basic and small rooms. Hard to move in bathroom as so cramped!

I stay there often as its very convenient and a great location for the City. Its generally economical and reasonable standard

I stayed in room 58 on the 3rd floor and the gap between the bottom of the door and the carpet was "enormous". I heard everyone pass the door and they cerainly wold have heard me. I was very disappointed this time round. I pay little and therefore don't expect a huge amount but this was truly unacceptable.

Cleanliness, staff, overall appearance of hotel both inside and out is excellent.

Small bathroom. Bed legs are too exposed. Have a tendency to kick legs when walking past.

The exterior and first impressions were fantastic, lobby was beautiful, staff were very helpful.

The cost for over night stay, for a tiny room with very minimum space, soap leaking in bathroom, and soap still on wall from previous users. I didn't find it worth the money.

Room was on the small side, when we booked, we were led to believe that a continental breakfast was included, this was not the case.

Friendly reception staff, clean rooms, great location just around the corner of Paddington station.

The rooms are really small, the bathroom is extremely small and really does need some repairs, but as for someone who used the hotel for sleeping only and did not stay in the hotel that much it was not really much too bad. The breakfasts are the same every day, people that stay there for more than one day might like some change too. The internet is very poor, probably slower than dial-up connection.

The proximity from the hotel to Paddington station and Marble Arch, Oxford street, etc... Nice staff.

The very basic equipments in the rooms. (For example, in a double room, a hair dryer which didn't work in the bathroom, and no mirror in the room to use it !! Tiny rooms !!! Also, the very expensive fare of the taxi to go from the hotel to St Pancras (25 £) whilst we only paid 11 £ 40 on our arrival to go from St-Pancras to the hotel. The hotel takes the difference ? I'm deceived with the hotel which outsoor and gound floor appearances are nice !!

The front desk staff were very helpful. I did complain about the size of the bathroom and as we were returning for another two nights, they gave us a room with a little larger bathroom. Your location is perfect but you would benefit from making the twin rooms a little roomier.

Size of bathroom for two adults...disappointed as my family stayed last year and that was the reason I booked this year. Even booked in February so we could get a reasonable twin room. Not compatible for 2adults. I had to remove the small glass shelf from the wall so we could walk to the bathroom. Also my friend and I both stubbed our toes on the beds getting to move between the beds. Also your hotel does not provide face cloths/flannels.

location was good for us and parking was very useful

room was very small and matched by the very small double bed.we were disturbed by staff entering the room first thing in the morning and by workmen banging and crashing about in the adjacent room .this work was known the night we checked in and we should have been allocated a different room.we complained and were given a £10 voucher for our next visit which we are unlikely to use in the circumstances.

Wifi doesn't work, rooms poorly organised i.e. Tv faces a wall therefore you can't see it from the bed. Kettle is on a shelf but the wire doesn't reach the plug etc.

Rooms where really small had to ask to be moved from first room given as it was on ground floor and the bedroom window was overlooked by staff going in and out of the yard,when given a key for alternative room it was still occupied ,we were just given the key to the room no member of staff came from a security point of view we could of taken anything from the room.when we went for breakfast in the morining that was included in the price we where told it wasnt I had to go and get my confirmation to prove it ,

Everything else - a tired hotel with cheap furniture and a tiny shower room - plus noisy (staff outside room). I wont be back

Very small roms, especialliy the bathrooms. No closet or draws so we cudnt unpack. No posibility for fresh air. No bar or room service. No fridge or mini bar. Bathrooms very smelly

Location good and price reasonable for accomodation.

The rooms do not reflect the pictures advertised. I effectively had a cupboard half way up the stairs. Showers and bathroom you effectively had to back into.

I received an excellent deal, however, as a result I felt that my room (in the deep depths of the basement of the hotel) was a reflection of this. All I could hear was staff arguing, noise & more noise. The bed/pillows were sub-standard & I hardly slept at all. I have stayed in youth hostels more comfortable! Staff were average. Overall worst hotel experience I have had for a while & I travel a great deal!

Location was excellent. 2 minutes walk from Paddington Station. Wifi was excellent.

Space too small for £102 per night and no complimentary breakfast attached to that amount. No gym. Rooms not adequately heated.

The staff was very helpful with all our requests.

The food was not worth the price and the coffee tasted like instant. The bathroom was so narrow I could barely lean over to wash my face without pushing the door open with my back end. I was warned London hotel bathrooms were small but by comparison this one was the small of all the bathrooms in the four European countries I traveled in, during this vacation.

Staff were very friendly, and the hotel was very clean.

We wanted to book a taxi, and the man on reception said they used a company and he would book it for us. Only after it had been booked did we find out it was about £7 more than a normal taxi, and the driver appeared to want me to direct him to our destination, I.e, he didn't have a clue where he was going. Neither did I, but I'm from Staffordshire whereas he was meant to be a London taxi driver. We only wanted to go to the Novello Theatre about 4 or 5 miles away. The cost was the thing that really grated though.

being first given hot basement room with window that opened into a tiny area with things dumped in and 2 doors that would give access to the room through an open window - I was a lone female traveller Bare walls in bedroom. No mirror in room/ next to hair drier. No where to eat/drink during day
