the reception furniture was the nicest part of the hotel. Everything. The rooms that were advertised online was not the room that i stayed in. The noise level was unacceptable and staff were not helpful at all.The hotel was falsely advertised and i will inform everyone i know to stay away from this hotel. Overall i was absolutely disgusted!

It is near the tube station The telivision did not work correctly. For a tall person it was difficult to get to thr toilet and into the shower, It should be mentioned in your e mail advert. That the rooms such as the accommodation in room 67, is only suitable for very small people. The food supplied for breakfast, was of very poor quality and nothing like specified in your e mail write up.

Excellent location with easy access to underground and train stations the bedroom was very small and in need of refurbisment , ensuite very small with no space to place personal items/toiletries etc . Breakfast room closed at 9.30 am promptly; breakfast menu very limited and felt rushed due to the large numbers of people in the dining room at one time and the demand for tables

The only postive comment that I can make about this hotel was the location near the train station and hyde park. This would have to be one of the worst hotels we have stayed at in our many travels around the world. The staff were unhelpful and abrupt. The room was so small that when we had our 2 suitcases in the room we had to climb over the bed to get to the other side. There was a three inch gap under our door and not one piece of the old 70's furniture matched. The bathroom was old and not maintained with chiped tiles etc.

It was convenient for us coming from Euston Station and it was very nice to look at in front with all the flowers. It was fine for an overnight stay with our daughter as we got a triple room. Perfect for overnight stay but room would be bit small for us if we were staying for longer holiday.

Excellent location, free internet although very slow. Bathroom very tired required re decorating tired looking carpet, bathroom tiny, unable to comment regarding breakfast as leaving too early. When I requested if facilities for a takeaway breakfast was available the reply was a stern No as breakfast was only complementary. Only reason to stay here would location and parking facilities, looks Grand on outside rooms and facilities poor.

Location and Boutique antique style I booked a family room, only because that is all that was available at the time of booking . When I arrived and they found out I was solo, they tried to persuade me into a single, saying, that they had a family, that had to be broken up and put into two different rooms. Since it was booked online, they could not lower my already paid rate. I looked at the single room and said no thanks. They tried to make me feel guilty for taking the family room. It's not my problem that they did not offer any single rooms on booking.com but only one family room.

Location was excellent, 3min walk from Paddington Tube, 15min walk through Hyde Park to Harrods. Room was clean and towels changed daily. All staff friendly and helpful. Good pubs and restaurants in neighbouring street. Other reviews said that rooms were small, so we knew to expect that, but the size of our room was adequate for our needs, we'd come to see London not the Hotel room. Would definately stay again.

Our purpose was to be close to Paddington train station to enable us to get the express train to Heathrow. The beds were comfortable and the showers hot. Although their English was limited staff serving breakfast were friendly and helpful. Room was very small and hot

Staff were welcoming & helpful. The room was fairly compact, but comfortable & clean with well appointed bathroom. The location could not have been better for proximity to Paddington station, wide choice of eating places , buses & underground.

The lounge and reception were pristinely clean and our room was also spotless. We were only staying one night to meet relatives who were passing through London and thus we were accommodated in a basement room, but it was adequately sized and well appointed. The bed was very comfortable and we wanted for nothing throughout our stay. The staff that we encountered were both helpful and polite at all times, The quality of some of the breakfast items could have been higher but considering that is a London hotel and its very convenient location and the price we paid that should not stop anyone from using the Westpoint

It was very convenient to the railway station. It was close to the tube station for easy access to all points in the city. Very good breakfast, hotel was very clean and tidy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Because I booked it late morning to arrive on the same afternoon there were limited rooms available 3 to be precise. So the room was lower ground level although it was clean and tidy it was claustrophobic. If I were staying longer than 1 night I may have had to request another room.

The staff was very nice and helpful The room was so small we had to lift our luggage over the bed to get it to the twin bed next to the full bed so we could use the twin as a luggage rack..I Don't know why when booking a double they would out us in a room with an extra twin bed.1/2 Of the lights behind the bed were blown out The price vs the level of accommodations and location didn't match up.

Location. Cleanliness. If you are not a slim person, you can't use the toilet or take a shower bcause very very very small. Check out time is 10:30. They say that if you would check out at 10:31, you have to pay one more night :)

Location was excellant , Reception as you walk in gave impression of rather plush hotel, Staff were very friendly, and dealt with a query regarding our kettle very quick. Accomodation was adequate for price paid. Close to Hyde park and walking distance to oxford street etc. Closest Tube is Paddington just 5 minutes walk The rooms were very basic , breakfast was also basic, I know its complimentary but could be better. Rooms we stayed in were very small, however their are superior rooms at a dearer price, but I don't believe the standard would be any better. If I had paid more than I did I would have been very dissapointed with the hotel.

I booked this hotel at short notice and the rate was excellent taking into account the location. The staff were both helpful and attentive. The bedroom was comfortable but could have made better use of the space available. The bathroom was clean and functional and the shower was excellent. The bedroom was also relatively quiet (taking into account that this is a busy part of London). The breakfast was also a nice touch as most hotels in London charge extra over and above the room rate. I would have no problem recommending this hotel for a sort one or two- night stay although somneone staying for a longer period of time might prefer a larger bedroom. Only a very minor comment: The ironing facilities were located in a hall opposite a bedroom - way too public and probaly not a great thing for the guests in the aforementioned bedroom. The hotel should as a minimum make an iron availble (via reception) for use in the room.
