Set on secluded grounds, Hotel Miramar offers magnificent views out over St Brelade’s Bay. The hotel features a swimming pool and sun terrace, and the sandy St Brelade Beach is 1000 ft away.
Score from 65 reviews Very good
Between St Helier and Gorey on Jersey’s south coast, Shakespeare Hotel is the most southerly in the British Isles. It has its own private access onto the nearby beach.
Score from 102 reviews Good
Situated in the centre of St Brelade’s Bay, Beau Rivage offers self-catering suites with en-suite facilities, free WiFi and either a seaview or balcony with seaview.
Score from 17 reviews Wonderful
The Prince of Wales overlooks the beach of Greve de Lecq, one of Jersey's most beautiful bays, with its sandy beach and wonderful views over Sark and the nearby French coast.
Score from 134 reviews Very good
Our fouth visit to West View Hotel, so we like its position on the Island and it is small so should make things personal and enjoyable for visitors. The bedrooms we have stayed in have always been clean, the breakfast meal is undoubtedly the highlight of the hotels attractions, it is excellent.
The evening meal menu lacked any ambition! The choices were minimal, with three starter and three deserts the same every evening. The menu was changed on a continuous seven day system, The majority of the food is not prepared fresh on the premises. We had carrotts at nearly every meal. The waiting staff walked out half-way through our stay. We regularly heard staff being told off by the manager, - something he should have done quietly and out of the hearing of guests. The hotel is due to be closed in 2015, which may have been a contributing factor, but the atmosphere in the hotel was not relaxed and as friendly as it should have been.(In our opinion). Andrew from Cardiff must have had a good week.
Impossibly pokey single room, pool uninvitingly cold though supposedly heated, manager grumpy.
Helpful staff and excellent choice of food. Presentation excellent.
No power point in bedroom to charge mobile phone
The hotel staff were excellent and made me feel very welcome. always there's with a smile even during busy service. The 5 course evening meal was brilliant. My fillet of plaice was cooked to perfection. The quality was worthy of a high standard restaurant
My son and his friends stayed at the hotel for the Jersey Live weekend and he said the Hotel was great the staff were very accommodating and the breakfast was lovely.
Location wise it was not on a direct public transport route to Jersey Live and although only a short taxi ride away there weren't enough taxis at the end of the night from the concert.
the price was reasonable and the breakfast was good parking not an issue loads of spaces( unlike most other hotels in jersey ) ate dinner which was nice and very reasonably priced would recommend
out of the town but not an issue for me
Friendly, efficient staff. Pleasant check-in experience. Excellent breakfast served with unobtrusive professionalism Rolling programme of refirbishments. From Uzbekistan to the Wild West of USA, this is amongst the best.
Lovely place, great service, good quality / price ratio
Clean, attractive and well presented Hotel. The Manager was very efficient and pleasant, everything well run and good value for money. We would definitely stay there again when visiting Jersey. Breakfasts were great!
The manager at the hotel was extremiley helpful and accommodating. He made us all feel very welcome. All staff were friendly and pleasant and The breakfast was very good. This hotel was also a great place for families to stay.
The only downside was that the bed was uncomfortable and possibly needed renewing. Also, the rooms were a little dated, which was not necessarily a bad point but I feel a few minor updates could make this hotel an excellent place to stay.
Helpfulness of staff Restaurant if you wanted to use it
Internet connection only in communal areas
Excellent level of service and cleanliness! Very good value, especially the evening meal.
Duvet was a little heavy and mattress rather firm for a good nights sleep!
Nice quiet location on north side of Island. Clean rooms and good value for money. Adjacent car park.
The breakfast experience could be improved, better food presentation and choice would go a long way. You get what you pay for, no more. I would stay here again.
Comfortable room, hotel clean throughout Staff were friendly and accommodating at all times Car parking space for all rooms Hotel room well equipped Good quality breakfast and evening meal Value for money, very good.
Wifi only available in the reception area rather than in all of the bar or in your room, but it is free and good connection, Helpful to have a Sat Nav/directions as hotel can be tricky to find particularly late at night if you are not familiar with the roads (both of above minor, would happily rebook).
Requiring a location which was away from St Helier and allowed easy acces to the rest of the Island this hotel was very good. Breakfast was good and general service suited us but temporary staffing of the bar and reception could be a problem
My wife would have appreciated toiletries in the bathroom rather than just one small bar of soap.
Friendliness of all the staff. Nothing was too much trouble. The swimming pool, bar and breakfast. Feeling like I was transported back to the 1980s.
Being told off because I went into breakfast before the dining room door was open.
the quiet location the yummy breakfast the well-equipped family room
having to climb the stairs to the room (but we'll live)
The retro 70 s look. Very well maintained too. Breakfast was also excellent.
Bed was a little hard for my taste and the towels were harsh. I'm used to the soft tumbler dried variety.
the whole team from manager to bar staff and serving staff were very helpfull. the food portions were very large and the evening menu was excellent value for money, this should be more than a 2 star hotel. i will be booking a stay there again when i next go to jersey
my room was on the roadside and it was very busy with tractors as it was spud season in jersey
Very good breakfast
Although wi-fi can be used in reception area, it could be improved if available in rooms
It was a very enjoyable, comfortable stay. Weather was perfect. Stayed at this hotel before and it would be our first choice when we go back to Jersey again.
Cleanliness, food, good value
Pulling case whilst pushing walking aid across stoned car park
nice quiet relaxing holiday loved every minute of it
can't think of anything? must be a good thing.
Service and the friendly host
A relaxed feel to the place with boss Phil running a tight ship but managing to be very friendly and helpful. The small pool was very clean and welcome after a long walk around the coast which was 15mins away.
Despite a do not disturb sign we were twice "entered" by staff, once when I was in the bath!!
