The Westwood Hotel  

Loved the location overlooking the forest. The outside patio area is lovely when the sun is out. Our room was excellent, very clean and comfortable.

The lack of efficiency re catering. Mistakes were made when ordering snacks in the evening and breakfast was quite chaotic.

The rooms were lovely

this was a beautiful hotel in gorgeous surroundings. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room spacious and well decorated and the breakfast freshly prepared and well cooked.

Stayed in a premium twin room but the bathroom didn't have a bath, just a shower - would have preferred a bath

Friendly, flexible and helpful. Organised a sandwich on arrival even though kitchen was not yet open. Initial room was cold and organised to move us to another. Good mattresses so good night sleep.

Vegetarian food lacked taste eg. Risotto (Jamie has a good recipe) Soup could have been thicker

Excellent quality of accommodation in quiet and peaceful surroundings. Friendly and co-operative staff. Comfortable bed and good bathroom facilities. First class food.

I thought the Westwood was really good - really comfortable well appointed room that got the balance of taste and modernity just right for the type of hotel. All the staff were very helpful. Location was excellent for me and really enjoyed my stay - definitely coming back . I stayed in room 6 which couldn't have been better.

Only one complaint - a £5 service charge for room service on a £10 food cost - I took issue and it was reversed so ultimately no complaints

The location, peace and quiet. Amazing friendly, relaxed staff.

There was a small piece of plastic in my dinner! However the staff were quick to deal with it and took the bottle of wine we had off the bill.

It was comfortable and very kind staff specialy Elias who guid us very nicely. Location was little bit away from city center but hotel itself was excellent. I would recommend to other travelers to stay in country west wood hotel.

The location and the water overly treated perhaps.

We really enjoyed a very friendly and relaxing environment, the staff were so obliging. The ambiance of the hotel is lovely, we stayed one night but could of easily have stayed a lot longer. Your close enough to visit Oxford as there's a park and ride not far from the hotel and feel as though you can switch off when you get back as the feeling of wooded countryside is around you. Well worth a visit.

We did nit have any radiator heating in our room, the hotel was warm but not our room.
