The room was large, comfortable, well decorated with light tones giving it a clean, light feel. Tea and coffee were provided which was nice after a long walk from the station. Breakfast was nice with a large selection of continental or traditional english. I can't really comment on the staff as once I checked in I kept myself to myself and stayed in my room for the rest of the evening Only one small point. The shower was not very powerful and it was difficult to get the correct temperature.

The Westwood Hotel was very welcoming and relaxing. The room was very nicely decorated and very warm and comfortable with a door opening onto a lovely outdoor area. The breakfast was lovely and I would stay at this hotel again.

Have stayed at Westwood twice now. Clean, friendly hotel with character and nice atmosphere plus good food. Have stayed in same nice large room which is quiet (as requested)...unless there are people staying in the room above. Tv too small for room, shower temperature inconsistent and traffic can build up quickly on main access road back into Cowley.

Nothing was to much trouble for the staff. My room had a missing tv remote and because I mentioned it in passing to a member of staff my belongings were moved to another room ( an upgrade) whilst I had supper. The food was also of a very high quality. I will return when back in the area. Everything was organised and cool no complaints.

A great hotel, easily accessible and really well located. The setting was tranquil, set in beautiful woodland. Our room was spacious and the decor was modern. The food in the hotel, both bar and main restaurant provided great value, from sandwiches to steaks it tasted great. The most difficult part was deciding what to eat as it all looked great. The ability to meet the chickens that lay the eggs for breakfast was really nice. The staff are very friendly and helpful. All in all, a great stay in a lovely hotel.

Excellent hotel, seems to be recently refurbished. Staff very friendly, they upgraded us to a family room as the hotel was virtually empty on a Monday night. Dinner and breakfast excellent.

Good location with a Park & Ride facility 2 minutes drive away. The staff were lovely - very helpful and pleasant. The breakfast was fab - a lovely cooked breakfast and continental selection. The room was really nice - comfortable and spacious. The hotel was set in gorgeous surroundings. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family and would love to stay there again!

Looking Modern. Easy to park. Got my room rate wrong! Hard to Find room! (Room 11) Was kept away most of the night (bar 2 hrs) by the water tank/boiler continually filling. Reception said they could do nothing. (Gave me £10 discount) Promised to e-mail corrected invoice - but hasn't Smell of paint as it was a "newly refurbished" Its a shame as it has potential. But no sleep! In a nice room and bed!

Very handy for Oxford - only 1.3 miles from a Park & Ride Station, which provides a very frequent bus service for the ten minute journey into the city centre. The hotel is well appointed and very comfortable, with several rooms offering direct access to the garden area and adjacent woods, which is excellent for those who have dogs, like my business colleague. The food, both at breakfast and at dinner, was excellent in its quality and preparation and, in my opinion, was tremendous value for its price. Our adjacent en suite bedrooms were of a very good size, provided easy access to the internet and enabled my colleague and I to work separately and together as necessary. And I have no complaints about this hotel - it met my needs and those of my business colleague in every way.

The Westwood Hotel ticked all boxes for me. It was a last minute booking for a business meeting. I will stay at the Westwood again and I will look at booking the rest of my team in the Westwood the next time we arrange a team meeting. Cannot fault the hotel at all it is nice to stay in a hotel with a bit of character rather than the corporate hun drum hotels from the bigger chains

This is a lovely hotel in a great location just outside Oxford. Park & Ride nearby for commuting into Oxford. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was excedllent, we ate at both breakfast and dinner The only criticism I have is that the window frames in our room were filthy. The room was an excellent size but was spoiled by the state of the window frames. Hotel reception staff confirmed that this would be dealt with immediately, and I have no doubt that everything is now as it should be It was also slightly disappointing to have extremely small bath towels in the bathroom. It is usual to have bath sheets, or at least large bath towels in a hotel of this standard and quality. However the hotel itself is lovely

We were treated as if we were the only ones staying at the hotel that night....even though there was a party of 30 in! The staff were great! The shower head in the room (30) was a little old and tired!

Pleasant clean hotel 10-15 mins from Oxford centre. Standard room (No 1) was on the small side and the basin hot water tap was broken. This is a matter of attention to detail on housekeeping which was the only poor management issue we experienced. Receptionist was apologetic on check out but not offered any goodwill gesture.

Small hotel, £6 taxi ride to the centre of Oxford. Good sized room with good facilities. Evening meal was a little hit and miss, I had the Lamb shank which was lovely but my partner had the Lasagne which wasn't great (too much cheese and the pasta was over cooked). Breakfast was lovely though, they use free range eggs from the chickens in the garden!
