The Glenwood is ideally located for the business executive. We are within close proximity to the Continent, Canterbury and Kent International Airport at Manston.

This licensed, family-run hotel is a Grade II listed, Regency building situated in a magnificent quiet square, 330 yards from the seafront and directly above the Ramsgate ferry terminal.

Superbly located, Premier Inn Margate is situated across from the seafront and next to Margate Train Station, providing the perfect base from which to explore the area.

very quiet relaxing, lovely staff/owners, great breakfast, very easy going
quite a trudge to the main town center
The owner was friendly and very helpful.
Friendly situation nice enveroment nice place exellent service Thank you very much
it was in a quiet location
sharing bathroom, decor needs updating
Good location, friendly helpful staff, good breakfast, large family room with ample tea & coffee & a sink. good view out of 2 large windows & room nice & bright.
room was a little cramped with a double & 2 single beds, shower a little awkward to use & no en suite but suited a short break with little time spent in the room. Large tv not really needed as it took up the space in between the wardrobes & blocked the view of the mirror!
Breakfast and view
dirty bathroom and toilets. No side plates for toast at breakfast
excellent clean and nice place very near to town center breakfast was super and delicious
A good and warm english breakfast, with plenty of coffe or tea. Clean place. Gentle staff. Nice garden and sea views. Just in front of the house there is a lovely beach. Which is lovelier than the Morgate main one. It near to the train station.
They didn't have linen. The double bed was quite hard. One of the towel was really old, and although you can see that was clean, it was a bit of a bad smell. The rest of towel were ok. Although a bit old.
service good location good hygiene good
Helpful staff and good breakfast.
This property is in need of a major re-furb and not value for money compared with others in this area.
It was nice and friendly staff very kind
Need bit more items in the room because we had a baby ie microwave or a fridge
Was ok for a night and the price
it was close to beach. it was very clean and best of all you took dogs, which i needed an at no extra charge. food very good.
It was value for money as a place to crash for the night and get a cooked breakfast the next day.
The bedroom lock was faulty, fixed to the door with 2 nails. One of the toilet had a curtain coming only half way down the window, which means the house next door could easily see your back side from their window when you stood up from the toilet, so not great. Showers were kind of falling apart.
Older furnishing. Late breakfast
Of street parking
Being by seafront was handy.
Noisy guests coming in late. Room too light - curtains too thin. Limited choice for breakfast. No fruit juices available. No veggie option even though I requested it on booking and the day before. It was basically the meat taken off the plate. The cooked breakfast was cold. The toast was warm bread. No jam or marmalade. Staff had limited social skills.
location, bed was clean and comfortable. whole place wants updating.
no menu on table for breakfast, just asked do you want full breakfast ,not asked if we wanted cereals or fruit juice. waited half hour for the tea to arrive, guests who arrived 15minutes after us got their tea/coffee first. There didnt seem to be any order in which people were served.
almost every thing
not enough to worry about.
Was as described.
Breakfast arrived automatically after we sat down, the other half is vegetarian and so an alternative not offered.
Included breakfast was good, staff were lovely.
Bed was super uncomfortable but for what we paid, it was fine.
Great location Room was clean, if in need of a tidy up
Sadly a drunken fellow guest tried to barge his way into our room at 3.00am. He and his companions then proceeded to keep us awake the rest of the night/morning. Cooked breakfast was fine, but no choice, no cereal or juice
Nice greeting on arrival, great location.
The beds were uncomfortable and the pillows were flat and had seen better days as had the decor of the rooms. There was a big pointless wardrobe that was from the 60s or 70s and no room for the tea and coffee facilities. The furniture the kettle was sitting on was too small which left the kettle poised dangerously on an edge. This room would be better suited with a desk that could accomodate these items rather than an oversized wardrobe that actually only contained 3 hangers. The room didn't have any safety/in case of fire instructions of which I would of thought would of been a regulation. At breakfast we were not asked what we would like, it just arrived after 20 minutes and it was cold except for one of two eggs. The only drink option was tea or coffee, juice is not offered or available and neither were any condiments with our toast.
Friendly and helpful staff Location No additional charges for a child
A bit old fashioned furniture and decor Towels freshness
