bed was lovely morning receptionist was lovely
had no towels when we arrived they took our blanket the second morning and then tried to charge us for it the bar wasn't open
The staff were very friendly,it was clean and tidy and in an excellent location
No complaints at all
Lovely Sea Views Gorgeous room Helpful friendly staff Overall a brilliant stay.
The room was really nice and clean. If it is raining or you don't want to spend all the day outside, there is a common room with plays, dvds and so on. Staff was nice and helpful.
The WIFI did only work at the ground floor. On our trip, we have had better breakfast then there, but it was okay.
Superb value for money.
Helpful staff. Decent enough single room with sea view and excellent value for money.
Was a bit of a walk from town.
Value for money. Great location.
Needs decorating. Breakfast haphazard.
Location, price, parking (free on back streets), best scrambled eggs at breakfast that I have EVER had - even my own !!! And helpful, friendly staff.
Nothing negative to write........
Right on the seafront, a straightforward walk from the railway station. Helpful, efficient staff. Better than expected breakfast. Amazing low season value.
Single bed not terribly comfortable.
- The location, it was close to the event I attended - You can get a parking permit for £1 per day - It is cheap
- The food at breakfast was poor (one day the milk for cereal was off and the eggs in the cooked breakfast I had to leave on both days. I tried fried and scrambled) - I like a firm bed but the bed was too hard for me and the pillows were solid so I made a new one out of the fleeces they provide on the beds.
Warm and friendly hotel decorated tastefully for Xmas. Room and breakfast first class very polite staff. Will definitely come again and recommend to friends.
Not even a hello such a rude team of people breakfast was just thrown at me terrible hotel wouldn't recommend to anyone maybe my worst enemy
Lovely room lovely veiw
No biscuits with tea and coffee
Was probably very elegant in it's day, but rundown now. Very high ceilings. Good price.
Carpet very dirty - kept my socks on, even in bed. No toiletries, not even soap!
good clean room.very good breakfarst.nice friendly staff.
Location was great
The bedding had makeup stains from previous people and the room was generally dirty. Utensils were also filthy. Wallpaper was peeling too.
Nice and comfortable Nice sea view Breaky served up quickly
Drafty window Room cold (gave me a heater when informed)
The staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was very nice and quickly presented. The room was very clean.
I booked the luxury suite but the Jacuzzi didn't work and neither did the wall mounted TV in the bathroom. The shower cubicle in the en suite is quite cramped. The remote control did not want to work when you were laying in bed (had to climb across the bed to get closer in order for it to work and whilst there was a DVD player, there was no sign of the DVD library advertised. No dinner available, unless you were staying more than 1 night as you have to order your dinner at breakfast. That said (try the Marine Pub round the corner as recommended by the hotel-excellent food and wonderful Christmas decorations - worth a visit!!
most helpful staff, thankyou for looking after my bike. food was good, I injoyed my stay. thankyou.
I dint like Eastbourne.
staff friendly, free wifi our room, Location and sea view.
only a wall heater in bathroom. No window lock on bathroom window so could be accessed via balcony!
ground floor room near reception was noisey ,hardly any sleep
location, cleanliness, Tranquillity
poor WiFi connection, lack of receptionist 24/7
The beds were very comfortable, the view was beautiful and breakfasts well cooked and tasty. I really liked it that we had a table and chairs to sit in to look at the view in comfort.
Cramped shower room
small rooms, we had to wait quite into the room.
