The comfort of the room and the view of the beach. It took a while for hot water to come through the building. |

The facilities in the room and the available DVD's with a lovely view of the sea caring staff and great decor. Low water pressure and temperature made using the jacuzzi pointless and when you looked hard the cleanliness of room wasn't great. |

To be close to the beach and have the front conservatory to sit in. There was a lot of banging of something between 2.00 and 4.00 each morning and I don't think it was the stormy weather conditions. |

Friendly helpful staff, Room design and size and the Jacuzzi bath. Breakfast was good too with waitress service. Recomendation of eating locations (The Marine was excellent). we were on the third floor and the floor above was very creaky dont know if the management were up there but lots of noise early morning. Ran out of hot water twice but was soon sorted by the staff. |

The staff were very friendly and welcoming which always makes your stay more comfortable. The single room was too small. |

Hard to mention anything outstanding. It was an average stay in average hotel with no atmosphere. Our room had a partition wall added down one side of the room to create a cubicle shower, a cubicle toilet and a wardrobe in between the two. The toilet has a pipe boxing in one corner which stops you sitting straight on the loo. There is not enough room for your left leg so you end up sideways on to be comfortable. There is not a window in the toilet or shower room. The toilet has a ceiling fan which does not work so any smells soon fill your bedroom. The shower was just big enough to open the door but you had to squeeze past it to get in. There is a very large step to get in/out which my wife tripped on getting out. This could be very dangerous with a wall straight in front of you. The shower head was dirty. Also the restaurant was closed |

We went as a group of walkers doing the South Down Way - the staff were very helpful, the rooms clean and comfortable and good value for money. Plently of single rooms available. |

I've booked see view room, but get side view. Explanation was that when you booking a room you have to confirm that it is see view. Why I paid so much to see other hotel through the window? |

The service was very nice, with free dvds to watch in your room. Breakfast was also very nice. There was no hot water in the room at any time of the day, and when I asked about this, they said 'It's very busy here, so you need to let it run', which I did, only for the floor to be flooded as the draining system must be faulty. I expect hot water at a hotel (after paying £75 for one night). So do not stay here unless you like cold showers! |

The DVD library was a nice touch. The bathroom was in poor state of repair and the room, although "no frills" could have done with updating. Also, considering the room was "no frills" there was a very expensive mini bar in the room! Although my colleague had a mini bar also in his room, he did not get a key for it!! There were multiple stair wells along with the rooms having numbers but not in any numerical order made it a very confusing place to find your way around. |

The room was well decorated and comfortable.Staff were generally friendly. The public areas of the hotel were generally scruffy and needed redecoration.TV in the room was far too small. We felt as if we were being rushed through at breakfast time. We thought the hotel was poor value for the money we paid. |
