Having breakfast served in the cafe. Dinner expensive
Loved room, nice bed, good sized TV, nice venue, lovely breakfast, the blonde hostess was very welcoming.
Soundproofing was a lie, got woken by a child at 8am and was furious
the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. hotel very comfortable and all you need for a short stay.
The view from the room. The balcony in the room.
No comparison with other boutique hotels that I have been lucky enough to stay at - it was simply modern but without any sense of style, and consequently it had a rather cold ambience. No separate breakfast facilities for paying guests - had to eat in the spike cafe with the golfers...and it WAS a cafe. No mini bar in room. Overpriced.
The rooms are new, have air con you control. Quiet location.
Breakfast arrangement - you effectively eat in the pro-shop area. Ok if you're used to eating with fellow golfers like me, but I'm more used to a full buffet breakfast. Plus I can imagine if it's really busy, I wouldn't expect to queue jump those getting a bacon roll in before starting their round of golf.
Staff were so friendly, the rooms were a good size with such comfy beds. Great value for money I was really impressed
Pretty much faultless.
Wedding kept me awake until 1:00 AM only got a few hours sleep. Dinner gave me food poisoning. When I complained the staff did nothing. Whilst having a shower the smoke alarm set off for no reason. The owner was on site but did not even bother to visit me to hear about my complaints.
Very pleasant staff and lovely location
Staff were excellent. Very helpful, professional and personnable. Room was modern and clean with good facilities. Golf course was well maintained and testing. We would certainly come back and stay again
The breakfast could have been served in the restaurant even if it was cooked in the cafe downstairs. This would have been a better experience but the actual breakfast was good. Not quite sure how vegetarians would have got on or those with heart conditions as it was mainly bacon sandwiches, a full English or similar meat selection on offer. That said it was still a pleasant experience and did not detract from the overall stay.
The weather was dreadful, arriving late evening everyone was so helpful, getting me settled in room and showing me around, getting a nice meal in friendly atmosphere.
staff friendly - great breakfast freshly cooked and good coffee
Room was freezing cold - they could have heated the room as it was January and no toiletries - not even soap
Hotel was excellent and the situation beautiful overlooking the golfing greens and, yet, on the main road. Staff were very helpful. Very good English Breakfast served. Would recommend and use this hotel in the future.
Temperature in room could have been a lot warmer. Unfortunately at that only evening we stayed there, the dining room wasn't available for evening meal or breakfast the following morning but we had a really good breakfast in the Golfing Bar and served with a lot of care and attention. We had been informed of this before we booked.
Excellent room, lovely staff, splendid location.
The room and decor, The Air Conditioning which was brilliant. The golf course
nothing springs to mind.
