Rooms clean and tidy. All staff friendly. We had a good size room. Very quiet in he evening. No noise at all. Very peaceful nights sleep. Full breakfast could have been better.

-very friendly staff willing to go extra mile -booking process- a day before my arrival I received an email from manager advising that instead of 2 double-rooms which I booked online I can only have 2 twin-rooms; in the end got 1 double and 1 twin thanks to the friendly staff; I can only assume that there was a timing issue between the order put in through booking.com and the reception picking it up

The e mail welcome prior to staying warm no fuss welcome on arrival and offer of free tea in the lounge. Brilliant stay and nice staff. I would recommend this hotel to friends. Cheers john Nothing

The staff were excellent as was breakfast. The ambiance in the bar on the evening was friendly and chatty. Bedding! Having no top sheet. Being up all of the stairs. Creaking floorboards.

The staff were very friendly. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. I liked the convenience of being close to the station and the town. My room was at the top and I found the stairs quite steep but this might have been reflected in the price which was reasonable..

The hotel is 15 mins walk from city centre, staff very friendly. The breakfast was good, there's a selection of cereal and drinks to help yourself and you order the rest from the menu (all included in the price). We found the little bar onsite handy for a cheeky one before bedtime. The room was very small with a double bed taking all the space. We couldn't get a happy medium with the room temp, it was either very cold or extremely hot. The shower takes a while to heat up.

quiet, breakfast superb and quick service, room clean with all basic amenities front path entrance to hotel covered in dirt etc and giving an unwarrented bad first impression - left like this for 3 days untl i pointed it out to the manager
