Located an equal distance between Bristol and Bath, The White House offers high quality bed and breakfast accommodation in rural Somerset.
Score from 15 reviews Very good
Lavender Cottage Bed & Breakfast offers fantastic views, set in a peaceful location in the countryside just on the outskirts of Bath.
Score from 17 reviews Exceptional
Overpriced. Difficult to justify this price for a B&B, particularly when the breakfast is cereal and bread left in the room.
Rural location, quiet, warm & comfortable
Very clean, quiet and comfortable.
Be aware mobile reception on Vodafone and EE is non existent, which caused a problem with the taxi. Postcode is a little off, so don't rely on it!
location, sublimely peaceful, quality of room, friendly host
village food, only one place to eat, and with semi-remote location not really wanting to drive far for evening meal, but menu @ local village pub - 'odd'
The accommodation was clean and the host welcoming. The room looks out onto a field and is very tranquil. A good do it yourself breakfast is provide and the fridge in the room means that white wine can be kept chilled so a drink can be enjoyed there.
Quiet, peaceful location Flexibility of breakfast arrangements
No linings to curtains so impossible sleep beyond 5.30 am during our stay...
The location was great as I needed to visit the Priston Mill wedding venue and it was extremely close and within walking distance to local pub Ring o Bells. This served delicious, tasty traditional pub food. Gillian serves a continental breakfast, which we took outside to eat on the chairs and table. It's full of personal touches and makes you feel at home.
The stay was perfect, we could not have faulted it.
Close proximity to wedding venue, priston mill... and the village....
Just a recommendation would be a full length mirror on the wall or inside of wardrobe.. us girlies like to see what we look like head to toe before going out
Peaceful setting and extremely comfortable accommodation. We visited Bath and it was easy to find Priston village and Whidlecombe Farm. Highly recommended.
Nothing at all
Very friendly host, fresh bread, milk, orange juice, condements even pate stocked in the fridge when we arrived, great place to stay as we were attending a wedding at priston mill.
Flexibility of the owner to coming and going
Instant coffee only on offer considering the breakfast was provided on a help yourself basis on the room
Quiet area with lovely views.
The landlady was lovely and the views are beautiful.
We went to Priston for a wedding, and I must admit I missed a cooked breakfast with a hangover!
Room was beautiful Breakfast was plentiful It was just perfect
So convenient for our Wedding Venue in the same village. Friendly helpful hosts.
A cooked breakfast should have been an option to be included in the price!
Very friendly owners - nothing was too much trouble. Definitely recommend this bed & breakfast. Lovely room, good selection of continental breakfast, great communication with the owners - cannot fault. 10/10
Nothing - it was lovely
Very helpful and friendly welcome, clean and comfortable accommodation, varied help yourself breakfast.
Very comfportable accommodation and you had your own entrance which meant you could come and go as you pleased. Owners very friendly. Place very clean and everything you could want fora comfortable, relaxing break. Would definitely stay again. Susanne Neslen Bicester, Oxfordshire September 2013
Lovely country location, very peaceful. Very friendly owner. Nice to be able to come and go with our own door. Excellent selection of breakfast in the room.
Freedom of having a self contained room for a night
The pillows were so hard and uncomfortable. Shower pressure was low would have been nice to have a more powerful shower.
