Location is perfect. Nice, quiet, very good service and food, and so close to everything... I don't think about anything.

Location, very helpful staff and manager. Comfortable bed in a clean room, bed made each day and fresh towels laid out Nothing seemed too much trouble. We had a 7am start one morning which required us wanting breakfast at 06 40, no problem, a continental breakfast was arranged. The following morning we had a full and excellent Scottish breakfast. For the money we paid, no negatives on what is on offer at the Whinpark

Breakfast was very good... Good choice, tasty food well cooked, clean and generally very good service. Mistake made with the breakfast order which had to be returned but was replaced after a short wait. Tea and coffee in the room. Also hairdryer. Bed was very hard. Shower was very poor....just a trickle. Took ridiculous amount of time to get soap out of hair. Difficult to dissipate smells in bathroom which smelt damp / foosty.

clean, comfortable, spacious, lovely breakfast and good location. Can park your car in private car park at the back of the hotel. Wasn't the warmest of welcomes we had when we arrived and checked in. Was obviously a staff member and not the proprietor who might I add was very nice, friendly and helpful once we got to speak to him.

Nothing. I don't think the service manager has good attitude to the guest. He would twitter to you if you press his gate bell twice.

From the minute we arrived the the man who runs the place was very welcoming, helpful and efficient. The room was very comfy and warm, provided with everything you would expect of a good guest house. The two women who served a really good range of breakfast were a delight to talk to every morning. The location is really good, just over the bridge and you're in the centre. Me and my partner would often just go back to our room for a cup of tea or to drop off our bags it was that convenient.

Location was great, right in city centre and close to St.Andrews Cathedral. The landlord is nice and friendly, he called a taxi for us, and breakfast fully satisfying. All the rooms are ensuite, with comfortable beds and fresh sheets and towels. Hair-dryer included. Free wi-fi. No elevator and the rooms are upstairs. It can be quite annoying when bags are heavy;( on the other hand it is a guesthouse, not a hotel. All in all, absolutely recommended!
