Welcome, location and the room was great.
Owner compensated us for our inconvenience.
Bathroom a disaster. Bedroom very cramped and whole room needed a thorough cleaning.
Chris was so helpful and even provided a little hand drawn map with how to get to the harbour and marina and all local pubs and restaurants. The hotel is close to everything you need but in a lovely quiet location. Fantastic breakfast each morning to set you up for the day. Would highly recommend and would definately stay again.
Only a very small negative was the shower in our room was not very powerful and was difficult to regulate the temperature. But it did the job and only a negative as we are used to a power shower.
Quiet location Friendly owner, although didn't meet his wife! Breakfasts were very good Large collection of books & DVDs for our use Lots of paintings done by his wife
Tiny bedroom, full of clutter, dirty pillow inside slip Cobwebs and dust in both bedroom & bathroom Old towels, some hard to the touch Wasps nest outside window
When we pulled up in the car and realised it was just a house on an otherwise residential road we were a bit nervous. But as soon as Chris came to the door it felt very comfortable and yet special. The finishing touches were lovely and the room felt cosy & homely but not cluttered. Breakfast was nice. Sharing one table with the other guests was a new but not unpleasant experience. Plus we got a tip to go to Bodnant Gardens - do it! Wonderful! And only a five minute walk from town. Great VFM and would defo stay again when we return to Conwy.
The breakfast, the position and the owner.
The twin room was cramped and the ceiling low. An attic room. Just about ok for one night.
Christopher, our host, was wonderfully hospitable and supportive, offering to tell us a lot about the area, which he was very enthusiastic about. He obviously loves his work as a B&B host and is a great fan of Conwy and all it has to offer.
The property is a bit far from the center of this charming town, but our host pointed us to the walking path to town, which is a nice 15 min walk along the park and river.
Lovely warm welcome Good breakfast Comfy pillows Beautiful garden
A little tricky to find on foot
I loved the location of the house within walking distance of Conwy and the warm welcome and information we were given by the owner. The breakfast was excellent.
Everything! The welcome we got was the best of all b&b's we've ever stayed in. We really felt like this was a home from home.
The shower wasn't the best. We were shown how it worked but the temperature didn't stay the same for long.
Staff, breakfast, location.
Poor B&B standard, twin room was more of a box room used to store goods and spare mattress as well as having two single beds squeezed into it. Toilet was noisy Eco macerater that took 12 minutes to refill.
Excellent welcome, lovely room, good position.
Great location, very friendly and helpful owners, very comfy bed and lovely room. Breakfast was wonderful. Wish we could have stayed longer.
Position, garden, hospitality, nice house
No fruit for breakfast, very small room, dark furniture
Everything. Chris, our host, was welcoming and attentive, and the attention to detail in the rooms was excellent. We could stay longer and just take the time to peruse his extensive book collection! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely go back.
Nothing. This was outstanding value for money.
Warm welcome, comfortable room and good location for town.
owner was very helpful and told us to see the beautiful Bodnard gardens nearby which were just spectacular! Everything we wanted to do was a walk away including the marina and castle.
Chris was excellent, nothing was too much bother. Directions on eating and attractions were clear and very good. Breakfast was excellent. We have spent a lot of time in B&Bs lately and this experience was certainly one of the best.
Use for a stop-over before going to Ireland. Friendly owner and good value for money
Liked friendliness of the hosts. The location was quiet and the rooms comfortable. It was also good to have a kitchenette/lounge area available to guests. Great choice of reading material left by previous guests.
The nearest restaurant was at least a mile a way, and many of Conwy's restaurants are only open for breakfast and lunch, so choices are limited. Even the nearby pub stopped serving food by 5:00.
Warm welcome from Chris, the owner, who drove us to the wedding venue when no taxi was available. Comfortable room and excellent breakfast.
Friendly. Off road parking. Nice, scenic fifteen minute walk in to town and an easy six-seven minute walk to the Marina.
Room a bit squeezy for us and for the price. Otherwise OK.
Convenient to Conwy Town and Marina. Very good breakfast and comfortable and attractive bedroom. Congenial host. Good value.
Only fault we could find was the shower was a bit tricky temperature wise.
Delightful owners, lovely walk i to town, fabulous breakfast, comfort, coffee and tea making facilities, masses of hot water.
Nothing, Kim was all brilliant.
very lovely hosts
no fruits at breakfast
