Close to Alton Towers, very nice old building, clean rooms, family atmosphere. Service is eccentric but friendly.

Lovely location Room was poor, 2 beds joined together, no bedside tables, duvet was tucked in at bottom of bed which it became apparent was because there were no buttons on duvet cover therefore duvet hanging out of end. No valance on bed showing visible stains.

Could not have a cooked breakfast despite the fact that these were provided to golfers. room smelt no staff at reception, had to wait 45 minutes to be checked into the room tv did not work, when we requested an areil cable they throw the lead into the room which was very rude. shower couldnt be made higher, I have 5ft 7 and I had to crouch under it.

Really close to Alton Towers. Local pub just down the road. Very nice, peaceful area. Staff were making up prices for drinks as they went along. Very unorganised. Weren't expecting us because someone had opened the email and forgot about it. Felt like a place that didn't really know what it was doing/wanted to be.

We loved the view and enjoyd contry life , hotel was lovely Shower was broken tab and shower was workin at the same time , its wasnt double bed they attached 2 single beds together to make douuble o god souncomflable specialy if u r couple and wana sleep together no heating systm in room to adjust we were so freezing in room then we left for diner later and then they put the heating at nite ,toilet got blocked after ist flushed got better in morning finaly able to use toilet,wasnt special anything in room that i would say i paid 85 pound for 1 room

Excellent location Excellent service nothing was too much trouble The staff could not have been more attentive we were only their one night but they truly made us feel welcome Maybe a little bit on the high side price wise for the services on offer.

The room was very cosy and quiet. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The views were amazing (although we couldnt see the view from our room). We couldn't see the beautiful countryside from our room, but we was ground floor and the end of the hotel.

Very warm welcome. Friendly and helpful staff. Very relaxed environment. Hotel immaculate. No shower in the room, bath only. Breakfast was very minimal.

Good location if you want to go Alton towers, which we didn't. Could not stand up in the shower as roof was too low. Not good value for money.
