I The staff were the only good thing about this Hotel and the breakfast was quite good. I have to say it was the second worst Hotel I have stayed in..... The water hardly came out of the taps ...... the tap fell off in the bath.... I couldn't have a proper shower and the basin taps, the water hardly came out. The television was useless and took ages to find programmes and everything in the Hotel was shut up at 9.30 so you needed the television as you had to go to your room. On returning at 9.30 to the Hotel, everything was shut up and in darkness - no-one on reception, no bar open - nothing - no-one to be seen anywhere not even a night porter if you had a problem. Breakfast was okay. Entrance to Hotel up a dirt-track road which is not lit atall at night and could be considered dangerous - someone could have been lurking about. I would not recommend to any fellow working colleagues who visit our Head Office in Cleckheaton that they stay there but the staff were fine - just the place itself.

The staff provided a really excellent service, nothing was too much trouble. It was a welcoming, very clean and comfortable hotel. I would stay there again and recommend it to others.

It was convenient for us. Tired hotel, obviously struggling. Staff were very helpful, but the hotel was obviously finding times hard. We were locked out on our second night because we were only registered for one night when we were staying for three nights. Breakfast was very poor, very small portions of cooked breakfast, fruit juice run out. Hot water in the room took about 10 mins to work its way through. Stayed there before cos of location, but wouldn't stay again because it's too depressing - even if it meant travelling further..

Staff very friendly and helpfull. Family room was great as we were travelling with our two grandchildren and there was a room with a double bed which could be closed off from an ajoining room with two single beds. The bathroom was situated between the two rooms. This was ideal for a short stay visiting family.

The level of serviccee and comfort was very high, especially when you take the price into account (£66 per night with full English breakfast included!)
