The cleaning/breakfast lady was apparently eager to go home as she kept asking me when I was leaving (the answer "when I'm ready" did not satisfy her) pretending finally at 10:30 that the checkout time was 10:00 (although the reservation said 12:00). The room was quite small but Ok.
Cook/Cleaner good, Food sufficient, hot and well presented. Bed comfortable, room quiet even though on road frontage. Neat clean ensuite. Coffee/tea making facility and iron etc.
No sitting room just two chairs in foyer. After initial welcome and help with bags last we saw of any "Management", bill receipt pushed under door. Room well furnished but small and so very cramped.
value for money
The snacks and breakfast was good. Surroundings were fine and the property was very clean, staff very helpful. It was an enjoyable stay.
The room was a little cramped.
Quiet, comfortable and close to Windsor. Good breakfast.
The towels were very hard, almost like cardboard to touch.
All new furnishings.
The breakfast was good and well cooked and the room was very quiet
There is no reception area and no details in the room on how to get hold of anyone. I only saw anyone once I had arrived and was in my room, and at breakfast when I was served breakfast. My receipt was posted under my door one evening. I do not agree that this is a hotel more along the lines of a hostel.
The breakfast and staff were lovely.
Wifi didn't work at all after 6:30pm
there was no fuss,we where shown to our room, asked what time we wanted breakfast, then left us to our selfs, great.Breakfast was full english it was fantastic. Our room was spotless the bed very cosy thankyou.
Off street parking. Nice hot shower.
Small room. Unappealing breakfast. Towels like cardboard.
Bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. Excellent value.
TV wasn't tuned in, and lack of plugs/access in the room. I had to search for the one available socket to charge my phone.
Very reasonable value for money.
I kept banging my toe on the foot of the bed.
Was clean and comfortable.
There isn't much within walking distance.
Very friendly welcome, excellent Staff and clean room.
Stale toast for breakfast.
The whole hotel was very clean and tidy; excellent. Breakfast was first class. Well cooked and rapidly produced. Friendly owners. Very quiet room with comfortable bed. Plenty of parking space.
I couldn't get the TV and Freeview to work despite the clear instruction leaflet.
A comfortable and modern room, nice shower, quiet and slept well. The lady serving breakfast was very helpful and friendly.
Arriving here at night and the dealing with the key lock box in the wall outside with nobody around may be not to everyone's liking. Not really a hotel more like a serviced apartment room with breakfast, instructions provided by text.
Left to our self, room always clean plenty of tea and coffee etc.
Sausages at breakfast.
Breakfast - awful
Lovely staff, crispy clean hotel, great service and a good location
Bedroom very clean, excellent shower. Very nice breakfast, tea making facillities, buiscuits, crisps in room. Staff very pleasant.
the whole stay was enjoyable. we were made to feel very welcome right from our arrival. the lady who cooked the breakfast was charming, and met all our criteria regarding our breakfast. we would use this hotel again.
Warm, clean and good car parking.
The room was only prepared for a single occupancy so we had to keep asking for things that were missing e.g. second towell, second cup and saucer. We also had to wait untill breakfast time to ask for soap and shampoo. Full Englsh cooked breakfast was a bit mean compared to other places we have stayed at.
this is not a hotel but a B&B; Breakfast was poor- orange juice rancid, no bacon & sausages off; no staff at hotel on evening of arrival or morning of departure
This hotel is just a B&B. There are no staff to meet you when you arrive, just a key in a lock box. The room was tiny with no space or real desk to work from. I paid extra for a double room as the other option was for a single bed. I got a cramped room with 2 tiny single beds, so feel quite cheated. The mattresses were of the cheapest quality available and apart from having various springs sticking in me all night, made awful noises everytime I moved. Apart from breakfast it was a dreadful experience. The final straw was the bill. £75 but the hotel isn't vat registered which wasn't made obvious at the time of booking, so for a business, the room rate is equivalent to £90. I could have stayed at a decent hotel for that money. I rushed and booked this very last minute and learned the hard way what a mistake that is.
