Got a warm welcome at the White Hart from the barman. Booking in was easy. Room on second floor was clean and comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was on continental basis but adequate. Location of hotel very good, ample parking at the rear. Loved it and would return.. All good...

We have stayed at the White Hart many times in the past but not during the tenure of the present management. It is in no way as good as it used to be. The hotel is missing the atmosphere it used to have. It is now just somewhere to stay. We arrived in the afternoon and our room was very cold we had to wrap up to keep warm. The breakfast was in my opinion not up to scratch. We will not stay there again. It was not the value for money it used to be. We ate in the hotel in the afternoon. I ordered a gammon steak that was served up on a piece of hot rock and was raw when it arrived I had to wait for it to finish cooking before I could start my meal. I like to have my food delivered cooked and on a plate. It was served with a minimal amount of salad this also was not value for money

Very helpfull staff, the rooms were large and beds clean and comfortable. Allocated room 4 which had the tiniest bathroom i've ever used so for a family of four not exactly adequate but as other members of our group were in room 5 (which had a large bathroom with seperate toilet) we managed quite well between us.

The location. The food was very good. The price should have included a full english cooked breakfast. Didn't receive the room that was booked. Only three beds were made up 1 double and 1 single. Two friends had to share a double bed.

Great position in Cricklade High Street, spacius room where evrything worked. Good price. Parking at rear Good selection of fruit at breakfast The bar area is a bit soul-less and could do with updating. Shame they don't do cooked breakfasts as well as fruit, cereals and toast

Staff were fairly unfriendly and unwelcoming, rooms were ok but bathroom tatty and awful electric shower. Breakfast ends at 8.30am which is very early but nobody told us upon check in and we missed it. Overall poor service and unfriendly staff but cheap (for a reason!).

Friendly staff, comfortable room, off street parking for guests. Quad room (double bed, twin and fold out futon) had plenty of space for a family of four. The bathroom was very small, and needs some fixing up, as it is showing its age.

It is a clean and pleasant hotel that is perfect when travelling with a child. Beds are comfortable and facilities are good. Soaps and shampoos are provided as are tea and coffee making facilities. Food provided in the bar is delicious and the continental breakfast is more than adequet. I would happily recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Very convenient for Cotswold Water Park and the various activities there (we were sailing). Friendly hotel with extremely helpful staff. Food is excellent and well-priced. Parking a bit difficult to find without checking in hotel first - very convenient at the rear though.

A lovely welcome by friendly host and staff. Superb food at dinner cooked to order. Good breakfast, continental only for us so can't comment on cooked breakfast. Would stay again. Shower was a bit temperemental but we were short of time so didn't mention this to our hosts to give them a chance to rectify the problem to be fair.

Location I requested an early breakfast as my daughters were going to be bridesmaids that morning....when repeating that request at hotel I was 'told' breakfast served from 8am!!! No offer of we can give you a croissant or something to take up to your room for you for the morning. Therefore paid for breakfast and got nothing. First morning no hot water, toilet did not flush properly and the shower room was absolutely disgusting!! The water trickled out of the shower which was probably just as well because the plughole was blocked and you were left standing in water that would not drain away. It was so disgusting my daughter did not even take a shower!! I asked them to allow my sister into her room I had booked the following night if her room not ready on arrival...they did not so not only was I running round after my two daughters I was then running around after my sister too! I had to drive back to hotel to give her a key to get in!! No offer of locking her bags up and offering to take them to the room later!!! Great location but appalling customer service in my opinion! I complained about the hot water but had no time to complain about anything else that day. Very sad experience.

good food and friendly staff A poorly designed room, only one chair in our double room which was too wide and low to fit under the table so that I could use my laptop. The requested early morning call (08.15) never happened
