The hotel was old with a fascinating history but had been equipped with every modern comfort. Staff were always friendly and helpful. The quality of the food in the restaurant was excellent.
We had a front facing room and had to keep our windows shut at night to drown out the noise of the lorries travelling through Moreton in the Marsh. This made the room very hot at night in the summer
beautiful, old and huge manor very close to the centre. the room was clean and comfortable, with the water boiler and all the accessories in the bathroom. the breakfast was fresh and generous, served in a beautiful salon
the pillows were thin
Central location Great breakfasts Large room
Wet room stayed wet Wet room door was very hard to open Cisten ran continuously
Everything. Room was massive, and very nicely refurbished.
Stayed in the stable room lovely comfy bed and amazing huge bathroom. The evening meal was superb as was breakfast. The snug was very cosy for a drink staff were attentive and friendly. We will certainly return and recommend the white hart to friends. .
leaving to go home
Near train. Hotel restaurant very good. Breakfast excellent
Some staff abrupt. Personal wine not allowed in common area
We just wanted a quck break before moving house, the hotel was well located and offered a reasonable menue. Morton on Marsh is a delightful location although limited things to do ideal for a max 1or2 nights stay
The menue was limited, I chose badly the steak was not a good choice although cooked as requested it totally lacked flavour xomething you do not expect in a rural town where quality butchers abound!!
It is very nice and very English hotel. The food was good.
Our room was not worthy 135 pounds. It was in the stables in front of the kitchen, very noisy with the air conditioning machines
Location was okay wanted to vist the Cotswolds
When I booked did state she could not have cows milk or butter so what was she given to have breakfast cows milk they had to be reminded and then it took ages to come feels like they had to go out and buy and still no goats butter never had a problem before at other places I have taken her or the next place we stayed at
Location, friendly staff, good value, well appointed comfortable room.
Evening meal not up to acceptable standard, food bland and unappetising.
Location excellent for touring in the Cotswolds. Easy rail access to Oxford and Worcester from Moreton if you want to "leave the car at home". Hotel fine although quality of cooked breakfast varied from day to day; perhaps different chef on duty.
We made a late booking and had a double room at a cheap price. The room was adapted for a disabled guest and had a wet room allowing wheelchair access to the shower. No problem with this but the wet room area urgently requires some renovation as the drainage from it is poor; probably the cause of the continual smell of damp.
A lot of character- it is an old Coaching Inn. Breakfast excellent . WI Fi connection in bedroom very strong with no need to log-on. Very quiet in bedroom Although over bar. Well situated on High Street with easy parking
Not sure about cobbles on floor of reception area . Could easily cause a twisted ankle for aged or infirm. I can never understand why hotels do not provide a toilet brush in the bathroom . I'm sure their room staff would welcome this addition!!
Big, comfortable bed. Breakfast
I should have share "happy "video on face book.
The hotel staff were very professional and friendly they couldn't do enough for us. Well done to the staff.
I booked this hotel on behalf of my Mum & Dad for there golden wedding anniversary they really enjoyed there stay there. The staff were excellent very polite & friendly, looked after them very well, they said they would definitely stay here again
Staff, building and breakfast. The late night snug bar was great too.
Busy road outside but tolerable
Two ground floor rooms were what we needed for mobility impaired members of the group. Very helpful and very nice! Restaurant also wonderful.
-The friendly welcome - with secure storage for our bikes! -The quality of the room and the general ambiance of the hotel. -The helpfulness of the staff. -The quality of the food, both dinner and breakfast. After lovely food and a great night's sleep we were raring to get going to cover another 50 miles! We'll be back on another occasion. Many thanks!
A bit of a wait in the dining room for Sunday night's dinner - but worth waiting for when it came.
We stayed here as we attended a wedding locally.
Good location. Excellent breakfast.
Could feel springs in the bed. Not comfortable.
Location to train station and bus was excellent. The breakfast was a delight and surprise. Everything you could want and more. We ate dinner both nights of our stay in the dinning room and I must say the food was fabulous. This is real hidden gem of a restaurant.
Restaurant excellent. Good choice of menu but more fish dishes would be better.
Room was above the bar and noisy at times.
Staff,Food,Great location. A joy to stay here. Very relaxing
Nothing that was worth commenting. Fabulous time
