Every person from reception through to the bar staff and breakfast waitress were very good ( i repeat all the staff were excellent ) The room was clean and well apointed. ALL ROUND A GOOD HOTEL We will stay here again

After an absence of 45 years, I was pleased to find such an improvement from the old days. Although hardly a regular, I would not hesitate to repeat the experience and would recommend a stay for anyone going to the area.

Nice friendly staff, good sized room. Car parking is separate to the hotel - bit more info on this would have been nice, rather than parking on double yellow lines outside the hotel and then run in to find out where to park!

We were visiting the Eden Project and the Lost gardens of Heligan. St Auatell is an ifdeal base. The White hart suited us perfectly. It was clean, functional and good value The bed was uncomfortable, it needs a new matress. The hotel has a number of offers encouraging you to eat in the hotel in the evening and purchase your entry tickets to the local attractions. These offres were very confusing and it took the manageress to sort out the rigt deal for us. The hotel needs to simplify this

The Hotel is in a convenient location in the town, near the station. Welcoming and helpful staff. Did not experience any noise late at night, probably because as this stay was midweek. The Restaurant served ample portions and had a good selection of beers and wines, all at reasonable prices. Nothing to merit even a small complaint.

Charges B&B prices for a typical small town hotel. Good range of cask and bottled craft beers from the town's local brewery, who run it. Convenient for the whole of the town. Easy to find, next to the church. Breakfast: grilled beats fried and you don't deep fry mushrooms. Parking might have been fun.

Friendly greeting ,always pleasant staff,warm accomodating room , nice food and when puddings were not acceptable there was no arguments from staff and payment was deducted for said puddings , I would definitely stay in this hotel again and would look at the other hotels in the group thank you In my room the double bed was tilting down ,so that when you layed on the bed your feet were slightly above your head ,got around this by using the seat in the window and putting extra pillows on so head was above pillows

staff very friendly and professional. Room was very clean, nice large bathroom. Heated towel rail was a nice touch.Meals in restaurant and in the bar were very tasty, large portions or choice of lite bite, homemade soup was exceptional.

Excellent location. Own parking. St Austell beers available in the bar, and I can recommend the Properly Black, an interesting dark ipa. Had a bottle sitting by the open fire on a cold January night, which was v restful. Have been in bigger bedrooms, but the bathroom was large with a proper sized bath and plenty of very hot water, which isn't always the case. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was very nice, big portions! Second time I've stayed, and good value for money.

It was a lovely old town hotel but with very comfotable contemporary facilities along with traditional settings in the public areas. Friendly and welcoming, relaxed, efficient staff. Would highly recommend. Bath towels could have been bigger/ sheets. No door numbers. Not Enough milk and coffee/tea/sugar. Minor issues easy to fix!
