People were nice Hotel had a nice atmosphere Breakfast was amazing!!

The bedroom smelled a little and also there were holes in the walls with big chips. The heating also kept reverting back to 21 degrees despite our efforts to turn it down. Carpet a bit manky - needs a little modernising.

The room was nice and it was clean.the staff are always pleasant.also you are made to feel welcome,weather you have stayed once or you are returning.

Close to main shopping centre. Nice menu and good prizes.

Room wasn't very clean and plumbing was faulty. Room was loud and made it difficult to sleep.

Parking facilities were not great as the parking is shared and though you had a parking pass the car park did fill up with people visiting the town during the day and the evening and using the pay and display.

The room was a lttle dated, but clean and comfortable. Service was good. Good selection for breakfast included.

It was relaxed and nice bar

we had booked as a party but had to ask twice to be able to eat in the restaurant, not at a very low coffee table. No vegetartian options and again at breakfast our party had been split onto two tables, it was just frustrating

The staff were excellent and the food very good with an excellent Breakfast. The bar areas were very nice, full of character.

The rooms were very tired and in need of refurbishment.

The staff were excellent and the parking was good. The hotel has that feel of going back to my childhood days when there were no chains of hotel/motel style accomodation. Obviously the price reflects the type of accomodation also.

I booked two rooms and it was snowing and -5 degrees C outside. A little electric heater in each room was nowhere near adequate to keep the rooms warm. The stairs and doors are very tricky to negotiate with suitcases.
