The White Horse

Nice very clean room, very quiet, we had good rest. We liked the pub a lot, it's very atmospheric. Good breakfast. We enjoyed our stay very much!

The bed was 2 single beds pushed together and separate single covers, the shower did not work but it had a bath that you could use instead.

Very cute country inn, ideal location to visit the busier villages bleinham etc.The rooms were clean, cosy and cottage like. Lovely relaxed pub, log fires, nice food and friendly locals. No complaints what so ever perfect for a relaxed / romamantic break.

At breakfast there were no side plates,so toast was served round the edge of the cooked breakfast plate.No jug of milk on the table,so had to help yourself from a communal jug the other side of the room.No Orange Marmalade on either morning.Rather obtrusive kitchen extractor fan just yards from room which went on late at night and started up early in morning.

Bathroom would benefit from updating, shower was very difficult to operate and toilet flush unpredicatable.

The peace and quiet of the village of Duns Tew. The evening meal was simply excellent and the wine served was of a high standard. The staff were helpful and considerate. Good value for money would stay again.

The rooms were clean and tidy however they could do with a good makeover and perhaps a few more toiletries in the bathroom would be good, I had enough but a traveller might not, also the lack of a hairdryer was a problem. Please freshen up the tea and coffee tray it was awful!!!

Excellent Pub - Great Staff

Room was clean and comfortable, Staff were warm and helpful, Early access was not a problem and no charge.

Breakfast choice was limited, and quantity of food a bit small, but it was well cooked and presented. Bathroom was small with difficult access to the shower.

Room clean and tidy.Bathroom clean and tidy, but could have done with a grab rail to assist getting into and out of the bath to use the shower.Breakfast was reasonable and well cooked. We had a beautifully cooked steak meal on the Saturday night.
