Conveniently located just of the A55, this family-run manor house is set within the peace and tranquillity of the rural surroundings of Abergele, North Wales.
Score from 58 reviews Very good
Food excellent and 'Hot' nice bar area and Resturante for approx 80
Nothing re hotel, but would like to see clearer directions aka J28 A55 then take signs to Rhualit.
tepid shower in morning, undercooked breakfast egg
Everything. There isn't anything you could possibly dislike about this place.
The restaurant food was to an unusually high standard. All the staff were friendly, personable and helpful but without being intrusive. The top floor room was spacious with good facilities and views. Everything was very clean and fresh.
There was some traffic noise in the distance from the A55, and some banging from the plumbing. However overall it was still one of the quieter hotels we have used.
Nice atmosphere and very clean
Could hear background music from the bar in our bedroom
The food was excellent will be back for a fourth visit
Very modern, new furniture & fittings, very clean, good sized bedroom and bathroom.
The room (207) was just too hot even though it was October and the room heating was not switched on.
nice new clean good food on site.
yes the green light in the room and a bit of road noise
We were in the top suit, beautiful views, lovely service, breakfast was delicious!! Will deffo come again!!
Rooms were spacious spotless and well equipped would recommend to anyone staff very friendly and welcoming a fantastic nights stay
Everything about this hotel was very very good indeed. The early bird menu is great value, steak pie out of this world, bar prices average, and staff are very helpful, rooms are very comfy. Thank you to all for a very pleasant 2day stay Breakfast is very very good sausage really tasty and enough for me
Lacking in a reception area, however it was not a problem
Convenient location Good Food Friendly and helpful staff Plenty of parking
The room was excellent would have paid more the food was very good excellent value
The staff were very friendly. The room was clean and modern. Although we didn't have food it looked and smelt lovely
Lovely decore, good host, off street parking. New renovation of this hotel has made it an enjoyable stay. You don't hear the highway noise as a result of the double glazing. Only have to walk downstairs to have a drink and a meal. The menu choice from the restaurant was good as was the qualilty of breakfast
A bit of noise from the hotel music
Staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and good value for money. Everywhere was clean and tidy. Central location for many attractions and towns. A very enjoyable and relaxing weekend!
A bit of road noise from the A55 but did not bother us and we slept with the window open.
The breakfast was very good The staff were helpful V comfortable room Be aware that this is a restaurant with rooms rather than a hotel with a night porter.
They had had a busy night in the restaurant the night we stayed and so the supplies for breakfast the following morning were limited: no sausages and a serving of half a mushroom! However, the staff were very apologetic and we were offered a discount and so we came away happy and would definitely return.
Good location just off the A55 The food here is fantastic!, well cooked and well presented. The bedroom and bathroom are well appointed,
Unfortunately, (not the hotels fault), but there was a constant traffic noise from the A55. Apart from that, nothing!!
A very easy to live with hostelry. With easy access to all parts of North Wales.
Clean, quiet, two windows which opened so plenty of fresh air. Evening meal good. Very friendly and helpful staff. Loads of parking
No option to have porridge for breakfast!
Awesome restaurant and well stocked bar Modern, clean, bright and spacious really nice hotel just off the dual carriageway (seems to be away from things but very accessible!)
Good service. Very clean. Friendly staff
Very clean and modern room. Warm and comfortable. Staff were pleasant and food was good. Would stay again.
Excellent room (No 8), very spacious, modern, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was surprisingly big. Dinner was above expectations and the full English breakfast was equally good. Good wifi and plenty of parking space.
Check the map before setting out. Based on the postcode and road name given by Booking.com our satnav (Mercedes) took us into St Asaph which is incorrect. The hotel is actually in the village of Rhuallt. If travelling west on the A55 you need to double back on yourself onto the B5429. Note that at the weekends breakfast is not served until 9.
it was very central for us. The owners were very helpfull family run business.Breakfast were good on demand. we want to set off early and it was done for us.
they could have air conditionering or proved fans, when its warm.
