This private hotel with a peaceful countryside setting is just outside Flint, by Flint Mountain. It has a picturesque 12-hole golf course and a Thai restaurant.

Awesome restaurant and well stocked bar Modern, clean, bright and spacious really nice hotel just off the dual carriageway (seems to be away from things but very accessible!)
Good service. Very clean. Friendly staff
Very clean and modern room. Warm and comfortable. Staff were pleasant and food was good. Would stay again.
it was very central for us. The owners were very helpfull family run business.Breakfast were good on demand. we want to set off early and it was done for us.
they could have air conditionering or proved fans, when its warm.
Overall a comfortable nights rest and a quite drink at the bar in the late evening.
Breakfast was a bit slow but overall a good experience.
Very smart dining and bar areas. Excellent breakfast.
Reception area was not very obvious, similarly the extrance was not plain to see.
Superb comfortable room with king size bed and beautiful modern bathroom with powerful shower. Friendly staff cooking made to order breakfasts. Fantastic restaurant
Our room was positioned over large extractor fan which vibrated through floors making us feel like we were on a boat. This did eventually turn off but might be off putting for light sleepers. Restaurant/bar shut Mondays which was our arrival date. this was a little annoying after long tiring journey as not many places to eat or drink nearby.
Everything was first class ie: the décor, staff and food.
Not able to open windows, even though it was very warm, because of extractor and road noise. Wouldn't book room 6 again.
Squeaky floorboards :
The location of the White House is very good - adjacent to the A55 road but far enough away for traffic noise not to be a problem. The room was clean and had clearly been refurbished not long ago. Breakfast was acceptable but could have benefitted from a little more choice e.g. some fruit.
By far the worst thing about the hotel is the fact that the floors have not been properly fitted and creak loudly when anyone walks along a corridor or in a room on the upper floor. Other than that the hotel is modern and a little impersonal. We were also put off by the fact that at 9.45pm the only interest bar staff seemed to have was in getting finished at work - it does not make you feel welcome when staff are removing all the sparklers from the beers pumps.
Modern, clean and well situated and good food.
Lack of mirror in bedroom, a woman likes to blow dry her hair in front of a mirror and there was only a mirror in the bathroom.
Lovely decor, everything felt like new. Great staff.
All good.... (tv signal poor but wasn't a problem to us).
Modern bath room and furniture with good bed (mattress new). Early bird dinner deal.
Due to old construction lots of loud squeaking noise from neighboring rooms when people walk around. So sleeping comfort depends very much who’s in neighbor rooms.
Hotel recommended by my wife who stayed there on business. Very impressed, especially with the food which was outstanding. Rooms were modern well furnished and very clean, with a very comfortable bed. Positives far outweigh the one negative. Would definitely stay again.
My room was not as soundproof as I would have liked so I could hear the person in the next room more than I would like to.
Comy bed, big bath, breakfast and dinner.
Funny green light in room which was too bright and kept us awake.
Everything. The rooms, the bar, the restaurant - a really nice place to stay. Great evening menu and quality food. The breakfast was exceptional.
There's nothing to dislike.
the quality of food and service
there where noisy guests and when they where walking up and down the corridor, the floor boards creaked.
The Hotel is spotless , the staff help full and friendly , food in restaurant excellent, good size rooms an ideal place for visit to North Wales.
The room and facilities were lovely, bathroom was clean. Very spacious, relaxing environment.
The sheets were stained and there's no reception or people around unless you go into the restaurant part. Room was very stuffy, no air con facilities, enough windows to keep cool but the road gets loud and quite busy threw the night.
Handy location to break journey time to Holyhead ferry. Near to main road, but lovely countryside and gardens. Staff really helpful and left us breakfast for our early start. Excellent choice.
Food was amazing. Decor and cleanliness of the place, the same. Staff very friendly. Will be back.
There wasn't anything l didn't like.
Ideal base for visiting north wales, excellent value for money, breakfast and sunday lunch fabulous, staff friendly and helpful, nice outside area, would return.
friendly, professional service.
Staff had too many jobs to do to ensure that we had all that we needed. More variety needed on the breakfast menu and more staff to ensure that customers get what they need.
Warm and friendly welcome. Excellent standard of cleanliness in all areas. Great view over local scenery. Good breakfasts.
Room was stuffy, we were in the roof appartment and the weather was unusually warm. Road noise from A55 limited windows being opened. Leaving ! ... wish we could have stayed longer.
