Very clean

Booked what looked like in the picture one double one single but when arrived room had two single beds one minute wardrobe and told booked room only that was not stated on net and overpriced stayed in quality hotels for less

No Breakfast as I was leaving at 7.00am. Could have offered a bowl and cereals at least. If something advertised isn't provided (even if it is a good promotional price) it is essential to offer the customer something else, however small, if you don't want them to be disappointed!

It wasn't possible to adjust the shower and it was too hot. The bathroom and shower were very small.

Breakfast was delicious. Beds very comfortable. The welcome from Martin was lovely. Nothing was too much trouble we were made to feel very much at home. I will book White Lodge again and would recommend it to others.

The building is a little bit old and whole house creaks at night, so if you are a light sleeper, you may have some problems to rest.

The hotel is lovely, quiet, extremely clean with wonderful staff who are there if you need them. The breakfast was the best full English I have eaten in a very long time. I would have no hesitation in recommending the White Lodge and I will be booking to stay again soon.

We could not shower as the temp control "stuck" in the HOT position. Not very welcoming as it was in total darkness when we arrived. We were contacted and asked to phone a mobile phone to let then know we were there.

Large, spotlessly clean room, with free-view TV and excellent free-wifi. Very good breakfast and although not serving an evening meal, a large selection of pubs and restaurants are less than five minutes walk away.

You need to have some shelves in the toilet/shower room to put things on and the lighting for shaving etc was poor.

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The hotel was lovely and comfortable. The room was excellent and roomy. Breakfast was plentiful and very good. We will definitely recommend the White Lodge to other people. We would definitely stay there again..

The internet service was so poor. There was no blinds in the bathroom!
