I thought the hotel was excellent value and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The restaurant was fantastic

I couldn't find a hairdryer n the room. Service in the bar /restaurant on the two evenings was quite slow as there seemed to be very few staff around

Its warm friendly atmosphere, its excellent food in MJ's resturant and the location

It could do with re-decorating the room we stayed in as it was a bit tatty

we stayed overnight on New years Eve after a very enjoyable evening it was nice just to go to our room instead of waiting for a taxi .

If anything it could do with a bit of an update slightly ripped wallpaper and needed distance glasses on to see TV!!!!!

Whitehall hotel has exceptionally friendly staff. They really couldn't do enough for me. My room had recently been refurbished to a good standard and was ver comfortable. It was really quiet too so I slept really well. The dinner and breakfast were very well cooked and the service was excellent. Well done Whitehall hotel. First class!

We got married here 2 years ago, and so as a surprise to my wife I booked us in on our anniversary, because the staff and food are fantastic.

The room was pleasant and the staff were very friendly and welcoming the site was in a good location not too far from the venue I had to attend.

My husband and I got married at the hotel in 2007 and had a fantastic wedding. So we decided to spend the night in the hotel and visit the MJs restaurant again. Wow our room was lovely we stayed in one of the country yard rooms with a lovely big spa bath. The restaurant was amazing the food was first-class. The wild berry cheese cake is amazing!!!!!!!!!!! The hotel staff were lovely especially Ryan, breakfast was lovely. Our stay bought back so many wonderful memories of our big day we will be defently be visiting again.

A Wedding was held during our visit the rowdiness got quite out of hand.

Very clean and friendly. no problem with coming back late at night after visiting friends.

Had difficulty finding the hotel. Sat Nav told me I was there but I couldn't see it - didn't realise the hotel was at the bottom of a small cul de sac, it just looked like a residential street. Lovely old building. My room was massive, nicely furnished, big bathroom. Satff were wonderful, very attentive and courteous. Service was superb and the food was to die for. Now I know where to find the hotel, I will definitely be staying there again.

Decor needs to have some minor attention - wallpaper curling off bottom of walls etc. Windows need some minor attention also as there were no catches to close them securely.

I stayed at the hotel for my sisters wedding and really enjoyed it. The staff were polite and helpful and drinks from the bar were reasonably priced. I plan to stay there again in a month or two.

When I arrived at the hotel my partner had already checked in and when I went to see our room it became clear there was a mix up as we where in a normal room and had booked an executive but this was easily resolved and the staff where really polite about the matter. I think the baths in the hotel need to be cleaned more thoroughly and the televisions in the rooms could do with an update as the one in our room seemed really small and old.

We attended a Wedding, which was lovely and great for winter as all indoors.

A little disappointed for a hotel which charged £85 per night, the rooms seemed fairly new, yet the trouser press didn't produce heat, their was no hot water on the first morning. Cooked breakfast wasn't the most apetising and service was a little slow.
